Finally you made your steps in my City. Tommorow is the chinese new year, you mau check the China town in Malioboro street or going to go Sultan Palace, at south of the Veredenburg Museum and Presidential Palace. I am glad you tried Gudeg Sagan near my Gadjah Mada university, the oldest and biggest in Indonesia. Gudeg, is made from young Jack fruit that cooked a long time with palm sugar. The spicy element of the gudeg is krecek from cow skin

friendly reminder.. almost all the food in central java and jogja especially its surrounding like solo and magelang is sweeter than any other place so its best to measure your food intake otherwise you might get diabetes. even padang's food will be so sweet only few places have authentic tastes. as a matter of course if you only live for a couple o days at those places then you don't need to worry. stay healthy and safe to enjoy our life
