This game... is the best ever made. No pompous prologue, no cut scenes, no flashbacks, no jiggery-pokery. Only me, a gun and will to survive - reach the end. Half-Life was later discovery of mine, still fascinating game, but I didn't live it. In Unreal, entering Temple of Chizra will always be special moment.

I honestly wish they would do a remake with current gen tech. Could you imagine how gorgeous the world of Unreal would look like?

Same here! I love Unreal, beat it a hundred times, and I have no intention of stopping. For me, the moment I literally began crying out of sheer beauty of experiencing Na Pali was the first moment you see the planet. I think I 've never felt that way ever again, even with all the games I've played, not to this extent.And that awesome soundtrack!
@abysswalker84982 жыл бұрын
@@Rogal11 I wish I could like this twice because I so whole heartedly agree. I can't count how many times I beat the game even on its hardest difficulty including the Return to Na Pali expansion. Till this day I listen to the music while I exercise and when I go on night drives.

@@abysswalker8498 Congrats on beating Unreal on its hardest! I've never even tried:) The music has always been with me since I first heard it, I love it. I think this remake is absolutely perfect. I really like the small changes you make to the unreal tracks without breaking their original structure - yet adding something refreshing to them. Your changes are subtle yet on point.

i was quake2 fan(still now) before this game when this came out it was like a blast, wide open areas like open world can see far area and when u reach and turn back to see where u started feels really amazing, unaware enemies from far distance which made me think that would've been nice to add sniper and they did it in return to napali sequel

It is funny it is only a few months between release of Q2 (Dec 97') and Unreal (May 98'), and then a few more months until Half-life (Nov 98') was released. 97-98 was a important year in gaming. Great games all three, but in the games legacies were Q2 its multiplayer, Unreal its tech, Half-life its mods.

My goodness this needed to be made since the beginning, the whole missing ending to this song has been an itch unscratched, until now. All of the alterations made perfect sense and it's now a much more satisfying song to listen to. Again, thank you for making this

I love Unreal but I feel they lost a good chance with their story. This track is really powerfull, for me it tells me the story of the emotional journey of the Prisoner we are in the game. All the time since he got away from the ship its been literaly hell and death, but now its a breath of fresh air and the feeling of Man Conquering the wild/ his own heart. It felt really bad that as soon as the boat jiurney ended we got back to the same atmosphere that suddenly, the prisoner should have went trough pure wildness and perhaps found an abandoned temple, a place where we could see that nature doesnt care care about our strugles, doesnt care either to help us but also doesnt care to hurt us, teaching the lesson that in the end its all up to us to decide. And this should have served as the determination for the Prisoner to keep fighting to escape, going back to "hell" (Love the very calm pacing and the variatoons you put)

Thanks for the Interest! Unfortunately only my old "Sunspire (Unreal) ~ Finale Loop Edit" with a customly re-arranged Outro (that Track made somebody ask whether I'd do the Same for WarGate, so I did). Other than that, I usually prefer to make my own Music, but most of what I have on KZbin is rather old and arather small Selection: kzbin.info/aero/PL06C6D8F8B9786449
