I love this line, I wish someone would start another series in this style, even if it's limited edition. I've never seen that version of Sting before, it's brilliant.

Right, that belt they came with was awesome lookin. The ones from wrestling figure workshop r nice but they're hasbro style. I've got the 3 Stings in their gear but 2 of em hav the same face paint. It shoulda been 3 different styles. I love em anyway

If the WCW would have picked 2 toy lines these and the Hasbro knockoff Style figures which only released 12 figures and continued to make figures they would have been more successful they had way too many lines out at once

The Sting and Luger in Jacket/Robe gear were only released in Europe and never in America.

Actually the sting you see in the video is from a cancelled articulated talking figure line and features different molding all together. The Luger in this video features a different head than the released one.

These figures have grown on me now, but as a kid I hated them. They don't move! I got into wrestling during the WWF Hasbro years, so I never had to have the LJN rubber guys, and in comparison I was spoiled with the hasbro articulation. As an adult collector now, I really like these WCW figures and appreciate their sculpting much more!

I agree man. The playability was awful, but now that we’re older they’re like little statues and damn good sculpts for the time!

If anyone has instagram, hit up Feeneyplexfigures, the guy is about to sell the unreleased 7 prototypes from the unreleased third series. He acquired the original molds and scaled them down to the actual galoob size. They are made from the same kind of rubber/pvc as the official releases as well as being professionally painted. He did an amazing job. Hit him up for more info.

I'm very surprised no one who has the prototypes are not 3D printing them? They would not get damaged by making molds. All you do is snap images from all angles, upload them and there you go. If I knew someone who had them then that is what I would be doing. I'm collector too and just having a replica is satisfying enough. I don't understand the collector community sometimes. It would not devalue the original in anyway. I'm sure I'm not the only collector of the galoob line that shares my opinion.
@FigHeel3 жыл бұрын
I think part of the appeal of spending big money on them is having a piece that no one else has honestly.
@j.borosa79743 жыл бұрын
@@FigHeel I get that, but still I think most of us would love to complete our collections too, even if it were replicas. it's not like I or any other collector will ever have the chance at getting one of the 2-3 actual prototypes. There are sellers already reproducing everything from stickers, figures, accessories from hasbro's & galoob lines, Call me the black sheep here, but I wouldn't have an issue if I owned the real prototypes and someone wants a copy. Go for it. I'm happy enough owning the real deal.

I still cant believe that Galoob were seriously planning on releasing the likes of Black Blood ahead of....Big Van Vader, Stunning Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Ricky Steamboat, Nikita Koloff.. I mean it was a travesty those 5 wrestlers never got released by Galoob but the ones they were planning on releasing that we seen on protocols, good designs as they were, should never have been in there before the ones mentioned

@j.borosa79743 жыл бұрын
@@FigHeel Sales were good in the US, it was just that by the time the big chains jumped on board the market flooded with figures everyone had. They should have waited for the company to do series 2.
@j.borosa79743 жыл бұрын
more importantly I want to know why Big Josh's axe handle came as a floppy plastic accessory instead of a hard solid piece. You can't fit it into his hand properly. Along with the strange chain accessory?? I love how Galoob's choices for paint desgns, poses on some of the figures were really random and odd.
