There is an easier way to clip parts, they need to have more than one orientation, 1st spawn the part you want to clip out and make sure it exists on the blue print, it does not need to be connected the the ship, then put it at the point u want, it should be red, rotate it to the orientation while still connect to the point u want, press cancel and the part should be fixed where you wanted it, clipped.

That is something I didn't understand at the get go... was the limitation on ship building, Like 1 reactor... 1 grav drive, and the 12 power per slot was another I could maybe understand grav drive in the method that they could create a singularity if two were installed on a ship. Though Reactors... its like putting an additional power plant on a ship... Not that in RL we have that issue... but I guess the comparison might be like an electric car having a batch of batteries to power it. and well even though this is modded play the systems seem to go well over that 12 point limit and it doesn't break the UI all that much

This is why I hate the vanilla game, I would love to have the second perk of piloting to be able to fly ships with more than one reactor. Yes it would mean you have a snowball effect with massive power creep, but if you limit the capabilities of what the ship can handle without additional crew, making either battle stations / computer bays / engineering bays / command stations mandatory while operating a ship with an additional reactor you could balance it for later game use as starting out a new game it already takes a good chunk of time to get sizeable upgrades to the Frontier or a new ship. This ability to utilize the additional reactor could be balanced by reducing reactor "compatability" with others. Such as if you are running a ship with twin A-class reactors it can run B-class parts with heavy penalties of efficiency. Either how much raw power you can put into the part as a cap or reducing the raw outputs of parts. So if you got a B-class turret on your Twin-A ship you have your turret rotate slower, fire slower, or hit softer.
