501st Journal "The last enemy that shall be destroyed" "When the Clone wars were coming to a end many of us where happy for war to finale come to a end but then order 66 was given and operation Knightfall all jedi were executed. But some escaped to the United Nations, truth be told the neutral civilization stayed out of the war but yet we had suspicions that they where more involved than they let on. When the information of the jedi knights and masters have been hidden into the citizenry it became obvious what our new Emperor wanted to do. After the new order was established a new war followed. Many of my brothers believed that the military arm this UNSC would be destroyed quickly and the nation annexed into the Empire...if only we knew the carnage that was to come.

Looks like the clones weren’t even ready for a fight. Head canon is the poor bastards were marching toward a small refugee camp they thought would be lightly defended, that the company & and a half of UNSC personnel sitting there would just surrender. Too bad UNSC fight to the death.

Because they were long time Veteran's that had fought against an Multi Alien Religious Empire that Surpasses Both CIS and Republics Technology and they started mass Genocidal Crusade, so which is obvious the UNSC would never surrender.

There needs to be an addition to the base code. If a 'crew-served weapon' loses its crew (turret, heavy machine gun, tank, mortar, etc) then the closest bot needs to man that weapon. It would make things better as that is exactly what real soldiers do. Another addition, if this can be done without crashing it, is the implementation of grenades when there is an obstacle between fighters. Another real tactic that is sadly underused in these mods.

unfortunately the canon appearances are so..they reference IRL ww2 tactics. Legends however have masterpieces. Its usually whatever is demanded for plot.

Nah it’s nothing to do with their strategy Men like Cody, Neyo and Baccara are some of the most strategic people in Star Wars the main problem is the Ai in Men Of War Assault Squad 2 is dumb as heck.

Considering the clones were advancing across open ground towards an enemy with superior firepower with a tank that's cannon didn't work, I'd say they did almost insanely well.

Yes, clones attacked with one artillery APC Unit, a bunch of scouting vehicles, and clones that bunched up together. UNSC had two mortar units, quite a bit of turrets, along with warthogs with more turrets, and two scorpions. Despite UNSC being more diverse with weaponry, having the greater advantage, and the AI clones getting themselves killed by bunching up together, they completely got decimated by the clones to the point you can't even say they had a couple foot soldiers left, and their tanks. I keep telling people UNSC is weak compared to SW.

You're forgetting that Clone armor is rated for lasers, not bullets. They'd be torn apart by machineguns.

@@xnyxiee1784 Plasteel is actually really good at stopping small arms fire. That's part of the reason people use blasters and not slugthrowers, they can't pierce combat armor.

Buddy this is a video game running two different mods that are in no way connected to the actual properties. It's not a good judge for who'd beat who when stacking the verses against each other.

@@calebmccullen4102 their navy would be slaughtered, they have numbers sure, but they lack the engagement range to actively engage UNSC ships. Pre-War UNSC it would be a very blood republic win. Post UNSC, It would be a UNSC Victory.

Well as much as I love the AT-TE you know your tank is flawed when you driver is head first into the enemy with a glass window and his own armor being his protection from mostly Anti Tank weapons

Something explosive hit him and that's why he's in the air in this case. It can't be seen because I cut part of it when moving the camera. But it also happens that AT-TE, AT-AT or other walkers jump into the air some time after they are destroyed (I think it's a bug) or if they get stuck in some objects on the map.

@@cinematicnpc Thanks for the reply! I have a question. How do you controle the units in your battles? Do you have the actions already set up in the map maker or how do you do it?

I don't control them, the order such as hold/free move and advancing to a waypoint are set in the editor. But if you want you can control it in a simulation like pressing f1 and then on the numeric keypad press the number you assigned in the team editor (for example you set player 1 for clones, press 1 on the numeric keypad to control them).
