that's how it's supposed to be done. lance russell used to always point out how "you see how he kicks that one foot up..." basically so you're going whether you cooperate or not.

memphis INVENTED the "wild WTF" style that eventually became FMW and ECW's calling card. first barbed wire match i ever saw was the sheepherders vs the fabulous ones in memphis. also the only place you'd see someone get painted yellow, tarred and feathered, stripped, or have a tag match against jerry lawler and frankenstein's monster.

@@bladestormviking Remember the concession stand brawls? They did a lot of those in Memphis, but there is footage of one in Tupelo, Ms. that is a Mule!

cbond99: The original did indeed happen in Tupelo, Mississippi and its impromptu on air coverage put Memphis Pro Wrestling on the map in modern times. Reportedly, Atsushi Onita was very heavily impressed by the daredevil lunacy of Memphis firsthand by his participation in such violent fights and patterned FMW as a Japanese version.🤔😂🎤🎼🎸🤼‍♂️B.W.

This is pro wrestling!!!! AMAZING, FANTASTIC, CLASSIC, TREMENDOUS, If you compare to WWE today you will understand that pro wrestling no longer exists. Vince McMahon you are an absolute childish joke. But only those who were fans in the 1970s get the punchline and it's not funny at all. You destroyed an industry that thousands loved. And all you created was a joke and a farce. Take it from me. Growing up in the 70s and 80s my life for better or worse revolved around pro wrestling. I adored it. And today I can't watch 30 seconds of this crap. Are you proud of yourself Vince? Wow what an absolute disgrace you are!!!!!!

Did I hear that right? Tojo Dundee and Rocky Soulman Johnson as in The Rock's Daddy all three as Faces against Lawler and two classic Heel partners? Throw in both the guys who claimed to be "The Tennessee Stud" and this is a true milestone and then some! P.S. The Original Tennessee Stud was a Hoss "the color of the sun and his eyes were green" in a 1959 Eddy Arnold song.😂🎤🐴🌞🎼🎸🎻🤼‍♂️B.W.
