Unseen Angels Rehearsal First Read Down (2012)

Hey Friends! Ive been going through old hard drives and finding some gems! Here is the first time we are playing "Unseen Angels" for the Angel Band Project benefit concert rehearsal back in 2012. We flew in to St Louis in the AM, ate lunch at the rehearsal hall, and played this song. This is the first read down. This video has some of my favorite musicians in the world in it. Ive been teary all morning remembering this special day. This was filmed in the recital hall of Webster University in STL. Pardon the poor video quality, this was one of the first GoPro cameras... and filmed in 2012!

Great playing. Two things are very obvious…..everyone’s listening to each other and playing to the room. If that was today, you’d have a piece a crap drum shield surrounding the drums.

Thanks for the kind words Kyle. Im so happy that you picked up on the subtlety of the band. These guys are my favorites for a reason. We had been doing studio sessions together for around 8 years at that point.
