To get it off, my port has gantry cranes with a claw/ bucket. It drops in and scoops it out a bucket at a time. Then swings over and drops it in a hopper, then onto multiple conveyor belts, to multiple warehouses. It takes about 4 days, around the clock. Any kind of dust is bad for your lungs, so it's not good to be in it for long.

Its pretty safe trust me but must just be aware of what youre dealing with because youre working with tens of tonnes swing above and around you and working on. Its a job for tough intelligent fit strong people. Its not meant for everyone i had a lot of new workers coming in and quitting in less than 3 months and its okay because you never know how it feels like working for cargo companies on vessels until you go and do it and then you realize holy shit I fucking hate this shit im never fucking doin that again or you fucking love the adrenaline and the job and just can't leave you just want to work.

I have seen it the other way. Loading 5000 ton of this stuff in bulk and discharging it in big bags. Every boat worker where given 10 big bags and they had to fill them with a shovel.5-6 hrs loading time at Bunbury, Australia, 3 weeks discharging at Nampo, North Korea.
