From what all players said this is how he was, that’s why many call him a second dad and all stay in contact with him, we all hear about the outbursts but he was never a tactical genius, he just got the best out of his players by getting to know them, making them happy and comfortable and helping them in all none football related things especially with foreign players (basically his words from a interview the other year) That’s why he is the grandfather to English football

@@25pence Yeah it's crazy how even today Ancelotti is successful with a similar approach even though the sport has become much more tactical. There is probably more motivational value in reassuring and supporting your players than yelling at them, even though most coaches haven't understood that yet. Increase the tension and the players do more mistakes, some of the most relaxed coaches have the most disciplined squads so it should be obvious although counter-intuitive.
