Unseen in Over 2,000 Years: New Pool of Siloam Excavations

We've finally made it to the newly discovered ancient street that goes from the Pool of Siloam to the Temple Mount and we were able to get a peak. We also got to see the new excavations at Siloam Pool which are monumental. This video is from the Unscripted series.

Great video! I was there just a few weeks ago and we descended down the wet tunnel to the pool and walked up this new path. Takes you about 20 min and leads you back to the City of David ruins. It’s still very unfinished, and a difficult walk, but like you, Sergio, it gave me goose bumps thinking of the importance of this road and the beauty of this find! Absolutely stunning!

I was just there this past fall and they hadn't opened that section of the pool up yet. This is fascinating. If you get the chance to go in the archaeological dig portion, it's cool. The sidewalk keeps on going, and there's some interesting things they've found.
