I just watched your video. Himalyan Tribes are so rich in their diverse culture and traditions. They are still working to restore our beautiful Nature. We as a tourist need to contribute to this beautiful nature. Especially people who boast of going for peace and litter there during camping etc.and so on. Amazing video. Thanx Saravana kumar for raising the curtain and showing our country's hidden remote beauty and the hardships of these people.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

@indiainmotion4 ай бұрын
Thank you.. Yes, I would try to visit those places. But personally i prefer to visit places in the high himalayas for the weather and the views. I spent half my time in these villages and the other half would be hiking and camping. So for that i prefer the higher himalayas. Also im slightly worried about the security situation in the border areas to be honest. Especially since the last few weeks.

Yeah, the people were all very lovely. I wish i had captured more of interactions during dinner, but I still have a block capturing closeups of people while they are eating. Anyway.. the valley won't be hidden for long. A road is being built to these places as we speak. And there are plans to extend into Zanskar in the future. So everything would change here in the next 5 years or so.

Your videos my dear sir, are a pleasure to watch. I have been watching them since COVID began or perhaps even a bit earlier. I love the way you travel off the beaten path, really rough it, independently at times and with local villagers at other times. Truly satisfying to watch. Love your no airs narration which captures so much details of the environs and the people. If you made a long form documentary video series I would gladly buy it. I have trekked many places in the Indian and Nepal Himalayas and travelled to Bhutan. This land is spell binding and calls out to me so often out of the chaos of Namma Bengaluru. But has been a while since I visited the Himalayas. Your videos take be there vicariously. Wishing you all the best. And so happy to see someone doing what they love. If you don’t mind, could you let me know the folk song in this video. It’s so beautiful to listen to.

I must say you are good at cinematography. The way you frame you subjects within a wide angle shot, the way the vibrant colors pop out is brilliant. I think you are using a tripod for panning your shots. That's why they are so stable. Reminds me of old movies in which a shot was for at least 40-50 seconds, unlike now where in within 10 seconds they change angles with multiple cuts. It gives a headache. So, good work and thank you for bringing these videos to us.
@indiainmotion4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much. All credit for the colors go to the people and the valley itself. The place is so much more colorful than Zanskar which I used to frequent earlier. All shots are handheld either with the Lumix S5 or the Pocket 3. I used to be guilty of shooting short 10-15 second frames (that would be apparent in my earlier videos) but prefer to keep the camera rolling these days. Thanks for watching.

As we were a small and unsupported group of trekkers,we got to experience their generous hospitality... Watching your video took me back to Kashmir.... For the rest of the evening I'm gonna scroll through my old pictures and reminisce about all those moments 😁 Amazing work... Keep it real as always... More power to you...💪🏼

There are 2-3 bakharwal camps on the way... Got to witness their truly nomadic life... Their experiences and stories are really inspiring and the same time makes you wonder, what an entirely different life they are living than us living in the same country...
