When I first moved to America in 99 I heard Dear Mama on the radio and even though I didn't understand a word he was saying I knew that it was special and once I learned English I would always listen to the radio hoping they play that song again.. It wasn't until 2002 when my family got our first computer that I found out that he was killed in 96.. I downloaded every 2pac song and interview that I could find on napster(Program used to download music) which took like 15 min to download a song. I bought all his albums that I could find and studied his lyrics and interviews. Tupac was so smart and waaaayy ahead of his time. Not a day goes by that I don't listen to at least one Pac song. The greatest ever in my opinion. Rest in peace my brother.

He’d be happy…..corporations are doing just what he said. They’re lifting up minorities in every way…forcing hires, constant marketing, knee capping white people….and there’s tons of big money rolling around supporting that cause (see ESG+DEI trends) Every institution is working in over drive to lift black folks up….we’re lightening up on crime punishments and soooooo many authorities and newspapers are refusing to say the color of a suspect cause they want to protect the way black people are stereotyped America voting for a black President should’ve brought people together ….100+ million white people supported that But the hustlers at the tippy top with power don’t want us united for some reason so they trick everyone into obsessing about racial issues. @@dianevrules Why are you associating poor with those who don't want to work/better themselves? Clearly if you can't read between the lines, there's people that truly need help and are a product of their environments. We've even had those come back home from war broke and filled with mental issues unresolved who can't integrate back into society. Poor children who come from parents that do more harm than good with no place to go and falling into a cycle of destruction. The list can go on with who needs help.

2pac's philosophy, mentality, and mindset were unmatched even when compared to so-called experts in Philosophy or Psychology. People are usually deceived by his lifestyle or the image perpetrated by the media and so forth. After listening to his interviews and raps, I can say that he was a very thoughtful man with a deep understanding of life and the society he lived in. He was also very articulate and didn't shy away from speaking his mind. It's honestly very shocking and awe-inspiring that he achieved all of this at the mere age of 25. He is truly a revolutionary icon which many people look up to this day and will continue to inspire people through his philosophy and raps.

Wow.. The way this man speaks is so wholesome and fulfilling.. He speaks from his heart with empathy and compassion and he doesn't try to act like he's perfect. I like his comment about not wanting to be a "role model" because "role model" has to "fake" words. "Role" as in role playing. "Model" as in to model yourself after something. He said he is real and he sounds SO genuine..

I am African Arabian emigrant I live in Saudi Arabia I learned how to speak English because of this man! Pac!! I was young and curious i was trying to understand what the hell is his music about!? I kinda felt his music my English learning journey started from there. I just turned 33 yrs now and I’m learning wisdom from his music. My English teachers used to be shocked when I start speaking English in the class during my elementary school days lol it was amazing days I was one of the few students who started the university without attending an English class it’s an preparation class. I want to thank God first then thanks to 2Pac I appreciate it man❤🙏🏽

Lot of the music nowadays you only hear them. Tupac’s music on the other hand, you actually listen and able to feel them. Apart from the technical aspect of rhythmic composition, his lyrics has a tendency to draw you in. Unconditional Love was one of my favorite for not only the song itself was brilliantly composed, it lead the listener to draw a picture as you listen to the lyrics and see/feel the portrait of his childhood struggles. Part of my soul had died when he passed away. Even after all these years, I still listen and feel him

Your probably to young to remember those times. Racism was rampant back then. The crack phenomenon and aids epidemic and raegenomics ... Cops beating up black people everyday. Gang wars rampant like the wild west. Pac was very mature and wise for his age. You should look up his idea he had for basketball and football teams. He was gonna get every famous rapper like snoop dog and Dr Dre and ice cube and each one was going to invest into a certain ghetto neighborhood into a team and they were going to promote their own teams with each rapper having their own team and start a league for only poor neighborhood kids. And he was also gonna get rappers to give back to their communities they were gonna go around and do free concerts it the ghettos once in a while. He also talked about negotiating a peace during those games and getting all the adult males to show up to those games and be father figures to the kids.
