I don't recall having ever posted a KZbin comment until now. The Necks are probably the greatest group of musicians on the planet.

Oh come on. They're okay. Leave it at that.

Congratulations on your first KZbin Comment. I hope you have found it a rewarding experience and will free to repeat it. In all fairness, though, I must warn you: You will get reacting Comments from teenagers who think the world cares about their tastes in music, decades after you make the most idle of Comments.

I can't like this enough. It's great work music, but I find myself heading back to the screen and ignoring work to watch what these amazing people do. Fortunate to have seen them once. Incomparable.

I'm always in awe of these guys. Masters of the intense crescendo!

What an amazing band, they are the magical cross-over between free-jazz and ambient and they've been doing this for 30+ years. Total pioneers of a new genre - very, very special artists!

...when I feel like travelling beyond I queue up all of The Necks albums and play them back to back very loud and life has few emotionally deliquescent journeys to rival this... thanks Necks for your work.

Listening to this music means to me diving into other spheres. It's a journey into something beyond my everyday life. A journey into the deep...

WOW WOW WOW can't believe it took me THIS LONG to look for this. I've exhausted every necks album I have and listen to Sex and Open each once a day. THANK YOU FOR THIS>

Your music is absolutely incredible and it resonates with me on such a deep level. It reminds me of Swans, which is why it speaks to my musical taste even more. Keep creating amazing music!

The only group that I can think of that might be better than The Necks would be Robert Fripp with The Necks. THAT, I would fly across the earth to experience.

Amazing trio. It saddens me when I see people who are incapable of comprehending the skill level of these players.

+Jae Jang Mike how do you know that the people doesent comprehend? and so what if he plays same notes.... to my mind its hypnotic...
@mikevgpt35048 жыл бұрын
+Risto Laiho I'm not sure if you combined my message with the response to it. I don't care if they play the same notes. I agree it's hypnotic. It's more than that. It's beautiful. The complexity of the simplicity is part of their magic. I would say a lot of people don't comprehend The Necks music. Your question is a good one though. If someone calls these musicians bad musicians then to me it's clear that they are incapable of comprehending their skill level. These are master musicians who are fluent in the language of music.
@karmineka8 жыл бұрын
+MikeV@GPT I been listening to them many years... so youll know... Still who said that theyre bad musicians...? And i undestand your point... minimalism isnt too popular...

without the annoying moaning though; Also, there is no record of Jarrett where he does that sort of relaxed stuff more than 10 minutes
@basileferriot5076 жыл бұрын
I would'nt say it is similar, because Jarrett's stuff is wider in range and intent, (he's not a minimalist at all), but you should definitely check out Survivor's suite and the 3rd side from eyes of the heart
@silenceisamask5 жыл бұрын
@@basileferriot507 Correct. A minimalist is not something Keith Jarrett will ever be
