If I remember, 11:50 Ayanokouji didn't block Albert's attack but he receives Albert's punch intentionally by his hands then says something like he misses the feeling of pain making Albert quite shocked.

Yes he technically catches the first punch before blocking and dodging the rest. I don’t remember him saying anything about the pain out loud. I thought Albert was just shocked that Ayanokoji was able to stop his swing.

My bad its been a year since I've read it, I check this chap again and i was wrong, Ayanokouji says that "it doesn't hurt at all" then that statement was the one that make Albert shocked. This scene is one of my favourite on COE.

This roof confrontation was beyond badass. They feel bad because Ryuen orders to fuck him up even thought he's supposed to be physically very average and does a speech on how violence is the ultimate weapon. Anayokouji agrees and says ''It's an effective tool, but only if you're stronger than your opponent'' and he claims ''you four won't be able to stop me'' then he effortlessy beats the shit out of all of them and says it was his plan all along.

yayyy...my 2nd favorite girl Hiyori get screentime in this volume. (I love books, used to frequent the library when I was a high schooler and have a similar personality to her so its more of a "I can relate" type of thing). Volume 7 to me is verryyy good but it isn't in my top 3 favorite volumes of year 1 (instead its at #4 in my top 5 🙂)

12:50 so I watch this scene recently, and I feel like the writer just backpedaled, because technically he gets threatened by the teacher, realizes the teachers threat had no weight, then says he’s going to stop trying to raise class D’a standing, cut off his relationship with Kurosawa which makes sense but as he’s thinking about abandoning her, he remembers “oh crap if I do this she probably won’t have a grit to with stand the humiliation and will drop out and ruining class these chances of going up” and then he just says “this is all part of my plan after saving her saying, this will basically reinforce the relationship and make her easier to control what do you mean when you met her she was going to spread her legs because she’s so used to being bullied😭 you don’t need any more control you have her out who actively making enemies with people like Kushida on your orders, she’s willing to commit assault as she did splash her with water hell no it seemed like the author was going to write her out of the story, but then just straight up, said no I’m not gonna do that💀 that man I am Ayankoji has been saying for the longest Time “in truth I don’t care about any of you, and you’re all just part of my master plan” with cold expression in monotoned but that’s just not true his actions reflect very differently He saved Suzane’s bank account for no reason just because he could he also refuses to use Airi despite her relatively low profile being asset his goal is to raise the class’s standing and remain relatively inconspicuous. I know that he eventually gets a certain someone, expelled and purposefully drops The classes standing but overall him saying he doesn’t care, makes no sense because he needs the class to raise their standing. He can’t go up by himself as a student but he eventually realizes that he kind of has two because he is still underage and legally cannot do things and is under the schools protection it just feels weird And kushida is just weird
