There is no lie here sis you have spoken facts o my! You are better off finding stability here before bringing kids in: the toll on you will be doubled if you have to put your kids through that stress as well. It’s always a sensitive topic telling someone to leave their kids behind and as a mother I can relate but remember it’s for their future and the greater good in the long term overall. ❤

Where I come from if you give them this advice they will accuse you of selling fear and not wanting them to prosper yet others have done it. Really good advice.

I actually edited out a part where I talked about receiving the same accusations on this channel. I believe that anyone who gets triggered by information that is meant to help them plan better was never serious about their plans anyway. Thank you for watching.

Good points Sis, I hope people in these situations would think about these very well. I had to stay back in Nigeria with my son while my husband did his masters here in Australia for 3 years. I know it was not easy. But that was the best decision for us. After my son and I joined my husband. We both decided not to have another baby until we are both well settled. My husband has a good job now . Our son is in school and I have a permanent job. We can comfortably have another baby now..that 3 years apart changed a lot about us individually but thank God we were able to adjust. A lot of sacrifices and compromise comes with travelling abroad for people with families.pls think about it and both partners should agree ..
@lifewithchioma

I hear you about the compromises! That's exactly what needs to be considered and carefully too. I am happy to hear that in the end it all worked out for you. Thanks for sharing your story here. Much appreciated.

Wise content as usual! Can I get a fee waiver on a training visa? I'm a GP looking forward to work in Australia, I'm sure you know the procedure until I secure the AMC Clinical exam I can't apply for the PR, so within the first year I will be in training, do you think I can benefit the fee waiver for my kid? Thank you Ma'am

I think you will find that information on the education department's website in the state/territory you are migrating to. I don't know much about the training visa myself.

How about moving to Australia on a skilled visa 482? we're family of five and husband is the main applicant and me as dependent has no restriction on work and studies. We're planning to apply separately after husband's visa approval. probably few months when he is settled.

@@faioi6076yup, only PR and Citizens have access to free public education. You also will not have Medicare cover unfortunately. On the brighter side, it’s a better visa option than the Student Visa as you wouldn’t be compelled to study and paying ridiculously high international student fees for yourself.
