Oh boy! I played this back in the day, it was actually pretty alright. I actually forgot it was THAT full 3D, I kept thinking it was more pre-rendered, but the DS had some nice polygon-pushing power.

i like to think of the 3D capabilities of the DS as being like the Sega Saturn, while the PSP was closer to, like, the Dreamcast. so both could handle 3D, one was just a bit better at it. It's always nice when the smaller budget/obscure games spring for 3D though. It makes for a more immersive experience to travel through the crime scene.

my entire GOG library is reserved for crap I find intriguing and fear 3 does kick ass! this is just the push I need to convince someone into a playthrough so I can be the ghost this time

Columbo got a resurgence among millenials in the late 2010s. Steven Universe was very popular with younger millenials and zoomers, though not in the healthiest way, that's for sure.

gauntlet the dark legacy is the ultimate trashy but in a good way game i recommend it if you like 90s graphics and dnd
