On a summer night in 1986, George and Ellen Smith were coming home from a camping trip when they noticed strange lights above their car. They stopped to see what they were and when they did they could see 5 non human figures staring back out at them. They saw a flash and 5 hours had passed. For months after unexplained headaches and nightmares terrorized them without explanation.

In an isolated and remote area somewhere in the desert a man is found lacking any memory of how he got there. Minutes later in a nearby town, residents saw strange unidentified lights in the night sky... could this have anything to do with UFOs?

This is awful... It turned something genuinely foreboding into fuckin' ecstasy-filled rave music. The only people who could actually enjoy this bastardization are young Millennials/Zoomers who didn't even watch this show back then and have no idea what kind of impact Unsolved Mysteries had. They're only here through Internet osmosis and what's trending. This is a good example of the saying _"Don't fix what ain't broken"._

@@JanetStarChild I have no problem with critique -- I love to be a critic just like anyone else! It just feels like you misunderstand the concept of a remix and you're projecting some sort of generational anxiety onto an otherwise innocuous work. This is a good example of the saying _"This sounds like a You problem!"_

I enjoyed the beginning and the end and wish I could say the same for the middle. A cover, in my opinion, is meant to keep the basic core of the original rhythm and notes structure. A good cover to me is one where you ou can take any 10-30 seconds of a song and identify what the it covers. While the middle was good music in general, I don't feel it was a good cover. It felt too removed. A solo here, a riff there or adding a few notes for flair style is what makes a good cover. Most cover artists like to add a solo that maintains the theme but adds their own spin. The beginning was solid but the ending of this song was great. I'd love to hear this artist do the whole song in more of the style of the ending.
