I can’t tell you the excitement I feel when there’s a new episode to watch. I absolutely love this show. It has awakened a passion in me I never knew existed and I have been playing golf almost religiously for the past 4 years now. Just a month ago I applied for my passport so I too could have adventures in golf where ever it might take me. I can’t begin to thank you enough for what you do and have done that helps spark the passion for this wonderful game and way of life. Please keep the channel going as long as you can, sincerely a huge fan!! ⛳️❤️

Making it very easy for youngsters to get into golf, become members of a golf course and get lessons is something we need here in the U.S. I love this game and I play a few times a week, but I’m not a member of any club as my goal is to play ever course in the area. I live in Scottsdale, AZ, and we have over 200 clubs in our area, all of the good courses have exorbitant membership fees that restrict most golfers and especially youngsters from being members. What a shame. Every once in a blue moon, there are membership discounts, but they are gobbled up quickly, and even those discounts are only on the initiation fee and not the monthly dues. Pitiful for our youngsters.

Thanks for doing this video and the place justice. I played my first round of golf here, had my first membership and won my first junior competition. Due to studies and work, I have been away from the area for a while. It was amazing to see how vibrant and welcoming the members and course still are! Nice one Erik! Golf everywhere and at every level should be more about community and inclusion instead of prize funds making headlines.

Unbelievable, my first AIG course !I played there last week, people were so nice, on hollidays with no golf bag the starter saw my interest and found me a lefty bag and reserved a tee time. The course was great, awesome first scottish expérience. The shot through the stones is unforgettable. Thank you for the great espisode.

Go to Aiken golf club in Aiken SC. Very close proximity to Augusta national, one of the oldest courses around. First course in America to ever have designated women's tees. Horse crossing signs on all the paths where you cross a road and an awesome putting course as their practice green. Amazing place. You actually went there once for a random golf club episode

This reminds me of a lot of clubs in Denmark, where I played a lot as a child and teenager. In the 90’s I believe the yearly membership for a junior was $250. Driving range, putting green, par 3 course and a full 18. Unlimited. Every Thursday was junior competition day. Wednesday was gentlemen, and Tuesday was ladies. I would hang out and play there all damn day during summer vacations, and it was probably some of the best times of my life. We hardly ever got green fee guests, but they were welcomed too. The whole concept is just amazing. I miss it terribly.

OK, first of all EAL, you need to be wearing proper golf attire (collared shirt). Next I will be volunteering for my club's junior program. It's great to see kids out there playing the game. Lastly, please keep up the good work.
@retrospective772 жыл бұрын
Did you miss the part where they were talking about growing the game, making it fun and being welcoming to newbies? The old traditions of collared shirts and golf shoes do exactly the opposite. Let people wear what they want to hit the little white ball and we'll have plenty more taking up the game.

just got back from England. played at a private course on a visitors day. it being a "club", I assumed it was an expensive, out of reach course. then i found out my playing partner was spending under 3000 pounds to be a member. Why can't we have these attainable gc's in the North East of America??
