The killers bought the phone back in November, but she didn't visit her dad and contact that friend that was involved in the drug bust until December and then is murdered in February! Maybe I'm just going out on a limb here, but there is no way her murder was committed because of the drug bust if they were already planning it a month before the bust happened.....they said the phone was only ever used to communicate with Lyndsay and was bought in November with cash so clearly there was another motive other than being or not being involved in the drug bust. I also find it hard to believe that showing a house in the million dollar range there was only one surveillance video that showed the couple that went into the house......there had to have been other neighbors with video footage...and how did they get there, did they walk? I doubt it, so there has to be video footage somewhere of them parking a car and the couple walking up to the house!

@lindasue87194 жыл бұрын
I’ve heard lots of coverage, but I’ve never heard of anyone communicating with the alclients who are said to have passed along her number. Anyone who knew her involved with this set up could’ve given out her number to anybody, and the pool is narrowed down when you consider it’s people who would know that the client is out of town. Even if the client really exists and was not out of town, somebody gave out her personal number and maybe banked on her not looking into how it is they called her on that number. I think we can safely assume it wasn’t the client, and the fact that she spoke out that she was concerned enough to follow it up, and also Concerned enough that she was called on her personal number rather than her business number, really helps the case.

Have followed this case from day one. Many details were not disclosed in this video. Jason and his mother are associated with some sketchy characters and Lindsay was about to break up with Jason. I believe they are responsible for her murder. A professional hitman would have used a gun with a silencer. Stabbing someone 40 times is up close, personal and messy. It is ridiculous that this case has gone unsolved without justice for Lindsay and her family for so many years. Saanich police need to put ego aside and bring in an investigative organization who has the tools, the smarts and the experience to solve this very solvable case. That they have failed to do so to date is unconscionable and beyond negligent.
@larryjameswalker4 жыл бұрын
To add to your comment LisaS ... if the police are considering the drug bust story, wouldn't the FBI be involved and investigating this connection (murder), or are/were they involved from the start? I just don't see this as a professional hit to be honest. Definitely a crime of passion/jealousy. The boyfriend created the perfect alibi by being late so as not to be involved (per say) and having his friend with him as a cover to confirm his story. I do believe that when the couple came out then went back in and closed the door... that was the signal to Jason that it was done and taken care of.
@lisas82444 жыл бұрын
@@larryjameswalker You may be right about the signal. I hadn't considered that. I doubt the FBI would be involved outside the US when the crime doesn't involve Americans. However, there are more sophisticated LE organizations in that area and Saanich police refused to call them in to assist.

nope. the people who killed her are associated with the ex. they are just bad people.
@craigk26442 жыл бұрын
I suspect there is a lot of info not mentioned in this vid and others regarding this case. I do not believe that law enforcement did not pursue any drug / organisation due to fear. Firstly using a knife to stab 40 times, would leave blood of the assailant. Also there would not be enough evidence to get a conviction of the bf or anyone else for that matter if their blood group did not match what is at the crime scene. There's probably other evidence such as fibres collected. Police would have made enquires and yet to find anyone remotely responsible. There is no conspracy of police being afraid of consequence of criminals. Police could be waiting on leads such as " someone who knows what happened " to come fwd. Does happen when ppl fall out over time.
@lisas82442 жыл бұрын
@@craigk2644 First of all, we don't know what avenues LE pursued as they're not telling us. Of course Jason and his Mother's blood type would not match any at the scene as they both had alibis. Jason surprised his friend by abruptly asking him out to dinner. Jason did not want to go to the house Lindsey was showing alone. Why? This was a hit. Pure and simple. How many people would want a young realtor stabbed 40 times to be sure she was dead. How many people would have any motive at all? This was as personal as it gets. Witnesses saw the murderers in front of the home with Lindsey. They gave a description. This is the couple who carried out the hit. But for whom? I've got a very good idea just based on probabilities, facts, statistics and logic. This was a very well planned, organized hit done by someone who's done this sort of thing before. Don't think anyone will "fall out" or come forward anytime soon. Fibers, blood, DNA are all well and good but useless when the perpetrator does such a great job of fleeing the scene and disappearing. There is no one in the data banks to match it to. And yes, powerful people in a small town who take care of the police in certain ways can definitely have huge influence over a police department. Not saying that happened but it certainly has happened before.
@jthoen614 жыл бұрын
Something doesn't add up. Why wasn't her boyfriend there right away with Lindsay before she took those people into the house? It sounds like he's creating an alibi by texting and saying I'll be there in a minute. Her boyfriend was jealous, possessive. Maybe he got wind that Lindsay was leaving him. He obviously did not kill her, but he could have been a part of setting this all up. Lindsay was lured to this house and murdered. She was targeted. 40 stab wounds? That usually is a sign of a crime of passion, emotion. I hope for the family's sake that the police find the killer (killers).

I cut him lose, for my own protection. Some things are odd to me regarding the video - 1. Why did she show the home before her boyfriend was present since this was her protection person for the showing? 2. Why would she trap herself inside the master bathroom with the Buyers and not keep her back towards the exit at all times? Especially since she felt something not right. She let her guard down since it was a couple perhaps?? Or lured into the bathroom. 3. Where is the vehicle that the Buyers arrived in? No leads from the vehicle?? Nothing mentioned about this. 4. People do not "dress up" to view homes, they dress comfortably no matter what price point. Those killers were playing a roll of a $1M Buyers imo. 5. She should of had copies of their ID"s at her brokers office or on record for her safety. I would of shared that with my boyfriend or Father as well for safety.

LordanArts did a fantastic job covering this crime. He also interviewed Lindsay's father in such a professional way. I hope this gets solved. Her family, friends, and Lindsay deserve justice!

The Killers must have talked about this to others. No way they would keep silent. That person MUST come forward!

This happened like 10 years ago.. Violence isn't new. Just because there's more coverage or you're more aware of it doesn't mean these things haven't been happening forever... =/

@Melissa Michael You are 100% correct! The murder & violent crime rate is actually much better today and over the past 15-20 years. Murder was almost double during the 1970s, 1980s & the 1990s. We did not have social media amplifying everything back then like we do now. There was no such thing as an Amber Alert until the mid1990s. Missing people, teenagers & kids was treated much different than it is now. If a murder happened or people suddenly went missing we almost never even heard about it unless it was in the State you lived in or a bordering State or it happened to get featured on 20/20 but other than that we did not get murders on the national level all day long 365 days a year the way we do now. Politicians on both sides LOVE to play the "crime is worse than ever " card to create false narratives and create unnecessary hysteria to try and make themselves seem relavant. Many major cities started working on cold cases Around the mid to late 2000s due to the murder rates dropping drastically freeing up homicide detectives to work on older cold cases. Society never takes the time to acknowledge these changes because saying the murder rate dropped 50% doesn't sell papers or get clicks or subscriptions to news outlets. We also did not have multiple stations, websites, etc... delivering the news 24 hours a day back then. If we did most people today would be horrified at how brutal it was in the 70s, 80s & 90s. I could go on for a very long time listing how things have improved and in what areas. Now, this does NOT mean things are perfect and it does NOT mean we still need to make improvements in several areas. The statistics and data is available for everyone to see but many folks love to just claim things have never been worse.

Jason's mother was involved... make no mistake.. I know this story, I know Lindsay's father as an acquaintance ... Jason seemed to delay his arrival. There was a big cocaine business presence in Victoria at the time and Lindsay walked in on something going on in a private office at the real estate office that Jason's mother was the manager of.. ALSO Lindsay was planning on leaving Jason and the family was trying to convince her not to leave him, taking her on ski trips, buying her expensive gifts all as if to keep her from reporting what it was she saw when she walked in on whatever was going on.. It was a time when the was money laundering thru real estate going on that was one of the causes of the extreme increase in the cost of homes in Victoria over a period of about 2 - 3 years.. Jasons mother is/was suing Lindsays father for character assassination that has damaged her real estate career but she is a horrible person. I have a friend that had dealings with her and imo is quite capable of setting this up.. She showed up within minutes at the property after Jason calling her which meant she was close by . The guy she was living with at the time, left to go back to holland because he was afraid of what Shirley was capable of.

Pure speculation on your part. One would have to be well connected with the mob or drug gangs to hire a professional hit. An amateur hit is almost always sloppy and leaves evidence.

I thought the same. He had a convenient alibi but I think possibly he or his mother had some guilty knowledge. The drug cartel theory is just fumes in my opinion. The way of the killing is surely personal. A hit would not need so much planning, probably just a gun and silencer. I don’t know if she knew her killer but I believe she new the people who put the wheels in motion

He set her up - then he called 9/11 after she was killed and the killers escaped - it was a hit for sure. He was late for the meeting and didnt show up until later - so he conveniently did not see anything

It’s refreshing to see an investigator say that criticism of their investigation is valid. I don’t recall any other case where an investigator has been humble enough to say that.
