To be very honest, Creamy matte lipsticks from mac are just ok. They don’t last as long nor transfer proof. Its pros are that its pigmented and doesn’t dry lips much

I love MAC eyeshadows esp the glitters, glow play blushes, mac soft & gentle highlighter is a holy grail, mac brushes last for decades literally & the refine zone from mac is the best pore & texture minimizer primer

While there are cheaper alternatives lipstick and I really like their powder compact. A lot of cheap powder foundations look very powdery and cakey, this is the only natural looking one that blends into my skin. Any cheaper alternatives are welcome.

I have tried pretty much everything from MAC and the only 2 products that are absolutely worth the money are the strobe cream and the setting spray. Everything else can be replaced with a different brand for cheaper. I say this as a dry skin girl, others might have a different opinion.

I have tried every every high end foundation on my face in nykaa lux stores and in Sephora I have crossed the path of affordable makeup but I also tried kay and L’Oréal fresh wear , they were either turning grey or dark I couldn’t find my shade from starting I bombarderd to try Mac because I thought it’s overhyped just like you thought that many brands are making them but I thought okkkkk let’s go to mac store because other stores literally lifted their hands saying we can’t find exact shade of yours and they themselves pointed towards mac to try them , I went I explained my concern and sat there the professionals came saw my skin tone matched my undertone and they said try fluid fix in mini because I was scared to waste money I bought the 1900 one and from there to till date there is NEVER looking back in NC 35 in summers and NC 30 in other seasons MAC is called MAC for a reason ❤❤❤❤

Agreed...the only foundation which is exactly my undertone is NC 38 in summers, which is relatively newer ...nc35 is for winters and they works so well irrespective of the weather ❤

Sister I think you better had bought some mixing pigment to fix foundation's shade, that could be more cheaper and customizable. There are so many cheaper, non oxidizing and full coverage alternative in market which I prefer than such costly high end one.

Hi! I love your videos. My first luxury purchase in Foundation was also the Mac Studio Fix Foundation. But, they gave me the wrong shade match and it oxidises really badly after a few hours on my skin. I am a flight attendant and have to wear makeup for many hours and it doesn’t seem to last (or if it does, it makes me look orange by the end of the day) Could you give any tips to fix this? I love M.A.C., they’re the OG holy-grail premium makeup company which was here ( & will be here ) way before these newbie makeup cos started mushrooming everywhere. Their products are formulated with clean ingredients & are very safe to use, & not manufactured in shady countries. Also, M.A.C is much more budget friendly than, say Charlotte Tilbury & the ilk, & their shade range & finishing is subtle, suave & quite long-lasting. Been a M.A.C girl since the last decade now & wouldn’t change a thing about that!

I got MAC studiofix liquid foundation, however it broke me out badly for the months I used it and until I realized it because of the foundation. When I went to the Mac store to get a shade match, to my surprise none of the shades the artist tried on me looked like a match or gave me a good coverage. That's when I realized how overrated MAC is. The only face product that worked for me is the powder foundation. MAC liquid products just enhanced the texture for me.

I had literally the same experience. Max liquid foundation always breaks me out. The powder foundation is good but they had increased the price by almost 1k over past five years and I don’t find that it’s worth it anymore. And the lipsticks are just meh, we can not get better high end lipsticks in India

I'm sorry it didn't work for you. Matched correctly, it looks like skin however most MAC employees in India seem to think every Indian woman is NC42. If budget allows, Bobbi brown skin foundation stick works well, looks like your skin but better. Budget alternatives could be Just herbs and Blue Heaven

One thing i would definitely say that MAC foundation gives such natural and glowing finish that no other foundation does plus in actual or in photos the skin looks so glassy and beautiful....from last 4 years i am using it and no other foundation has replaced it

Personally I love their compact and so far, their lipsticks. I haven't tried the liquid ones. I simply don't like liquid lipsticks and i dont mind touching up bullet ones. Other products, I am sorry they don't work for me. I have tried all types of color correctors and concealers, only maybelline age rewind one does a decent job of covering my pigmentation. So, if you want traditional bullet lipsticks, go for Mac. Try one. They cater to all skin tones. They aren't cruelty free though.

Hi few days back bought Mac studio fix foundation from a mall...it was buy one get one free offer...I tried tester of the product at the store before buying it....not at all noticable smell after using it. But when I took the fresh Mac studio fix foundation at home ...I opened the bottle it smelled so 😮strong like nail paint remover or very strong medical unpleasant smell 😢 Pls tell your experience or anyone else who have same experience?????????!!!!!!!!!!
