Great sportsmanship at the end…👍 to both wrestlers

Wrestling up in weight class usually makes a difference. But it's clear in this case that the 16lb offset was not a factor as the wrestler in grey was clearly more skilled.

The wrestler in gray dominated that fight. Would a cross face like that hurt. The wrestler seemed to be doing those to cause some pain. What was the final score?
@djsmyles4896 ай бұрын
It was like 8 to 2

@djsmyles489 its not legal to wrestle up 3 weight classes. Youre only allowed to bump up 1 weight class.

I wrestled 119 all through my junior year. Then at the end of the season 2 seniors dropped 1 weight class. I had to weight in for 126 but wrestled the 132 division for district, region and state. Could be a similar situation and they left out the details of it.@combatspeed6392

@richardjasmer7769 sure but the scenario you described is bumping up 1 weight class not 3. Weighing in at 126 no longer makes you a 119lber. It makes you a 126. Then bumping up to 132 means you bumped 1 weight. Even then you could say you moved up 2 weights, not 3.

@@combatspeed6392 I hear what you are saying...just trying to give a possible idea of what they were saying. Unfortunately they don't really give much information. You're absolutely correct about only being able to wrestle up one weight class and it's been around for a long time...I was class of 88
