There are two reasons for the same 1) queen rook fork 2) knight could challenge other black knight in the middle square & if taken & counter taken by white bishop would centralise bishop & cover both side diagonals which is very strong

After Nb3, it's possible to to play Nc6 forking Queen and the Rook.

does not prevent Q*f6 check from white and then black's position collapses. First knight is gone and then rook and multiple mate opportunities.
