Thanks for your review! Glad you enjoyed it. The "choose your own adventure" deck you mentioned is used when facing one of the included bosses (Duomo's Menace). The setup instructions on the boss outline how to use it.

Interested in your thoughts in value of backing. Right now, the stretch goals seem to just be a few extra cards. So I can pay $77 now to wait 8-12 months to get the game, or wait for retail and pay $45-60 to get it when I pay. Maybe the stretch goals will improve, but right now, not seeing the value in backing?

Johnny D is my favorite designer, but I just don’t play my solo stuff enough to justify backing it. Will definitely look for it at retail, the system seems incredible

I'm surprised you didn't recommend aeons end. this seems to have the same thing going on just not as good imo. I'll keep an eye on this but I think aeons end will still stay as my boss battle/deck builder game of choice.

The story cards mentioned are part of the Menace boss. The little face symbol is referenced on the boss sheet 🙂

Darn, darn, darn...and I was going to backoff on crowdfunding for a while. Thanks for the review, Alex. The changes in the studio are looking really good. Yes, the lower kallax shelf unit improves the look.
