It is NONE of my business what your marriage life is about; I am here for the fashion, the insight knowledge of Paris, etc. If your family is safe, sound, and it works for you that is wonderful.

With social media people should see that people live differenty happily; perhaps those who have not unsubscribed are projecting their self-imposed limits on others. My husband does not require that i cook, clean etc. He enjoys doing his own laundry! Im his wife, not Momma and not the maid! I cook bcuz i love to, clean bcuz i enjoy clean spaces and the whole family cleans our home, great topic!

I hear the exact same thing! My husband pretty much is totally in charge of the family and the household. I run the business and the money. And we are hitting year 19 in August. You have to do what's best for you and yours. I was never going to be a stay at home wife who cooks, cleans, and raises the kids. Neva, We had to compromise for what works best for us. And the moment people stop worrying about others, they will find their own happy.

Lol. I love this. Learned early in my marriage that I was not built for that Susie Homemaker 24/7 life. And my husband has no problems with it. 20+ years in and we have the balance that works for us. Not “conventional” and we love it.

Thank you again for reminding us about And. We can be a mom And an entrepreneur. We can be a wife And solo travel. The list is endless and the world is full of abundance. Also, I don't cook dinner in my house because by that time I'm tired from dealing with these 50-11 kids lol. My hubby took that over years back and we both enjoy the switch. I love travelling and he doesn't mind when I go places without him or the kids. That works for us and I love that. I no longer believe in "couples goals" because what works for one couple most likely won't work for the next. ❤
@CappuccinosandConsignment9 ай бұрын
Yes! We were all aiming for “couple goals” at one point 🤣. I absolutely love seeing you travel, homeschooling the kids, and laughing with your husband! You've created a life on your terms, and I love it ❤️

With the advancement in technology the 5 day work from the office is outdated for many jobs. It took Covid to force people to see that life had changed but our mindset about work had not.

Stuck people are mad you're not stuck. Theyre mad you're living your dream. While theyre mad working a 9 to 5 with no dreams of their own. Every marriage is different. This message was right on time and it applies to so many facets of anyone’s life. I’m so over people trying to define me and my life by conventional standards. I refuse to be put it a box and am in the process of busting out of said box 17:01 and defining who I am, what I need/want as an independent aging woman! I ❤ these chats!
@yanikeonpurpose9 ай бұрын
Yes I’m navigating that same space. I’m in my early 40s & people, especially my family, find my lifestyle strange because I am choosing to start a family later in life. I have spent the last few years being single & they wonder how I could happily exist in such a reality. It is utterly confusing to them that I am in the most happiest phase of my life! I have my freedom, work for myself & am able to traverse this world standing FIRMLY in who I am as an individual. I don’t need “things” or people to define my identity, & they can’t fathom a life where you are happy being on your own. 😅

😢The universe g checked me the other day because it was like, how can we send you the family you aspire to have yet at the same time you seem to hate families!? 😅 In fact it’s only yesterday that I got the clarity that the universe seems satisfied with to go on ahead & do its work. I realised that what I dislike about families is the way they seem to define the individual. Most people see their children & marital status as a reflection of their value, & I navigate this world placing an extremely high value on resting in my individuality as a person. I hate (with a passion) being defined by things. And what I’ve realised is, is that I actually love the idea of having a family of my own simply because I love to nurture. I love to build & grow things. I love to serve. Nothing to do with feeling valuable because I have kids & a man, or the value that my culture places on those things.

BONJOUR! This is an off topic comment. But.. I am finally going to PARIS for the 1st time end of March to early April!! Of course I'm viewing channels about Paris! Its only a few days.. But.. I just hope to see and do most if not all on my to do list with my daughter. I don't have the wardrobe as you do.. Nevertheless, the simple chic look for less is my attire. Going to cafes eating croissants & drinking wine. Along with photos of the sights. May try to do a day trip to London & a nearby village in Paris to get some lavender.

Jessie, oh the shade 😎 the hubs is straight shady boots 😂😅 A lot of times women live into that narrow definition of wife and still get left and end up posting lamentations on social media decrying the evils of men/husbands. 🙄 People project their insecurities onto others because who needs a husband you have to be afraid of leaving alone for any length of time; that sounds like baby sitting.

Please define untraditional please. Are you trying to convey how important it is to have life- balance while defining what works for you? Remember that not all people can travel abroad because they do not have support systems that would allow them freedom and latitude to think like a free bird. You are coming off as too flop……
@CappuccinosandConsignment9 ай бұрын
Bonjour! Merci, for joining me bright and early. I appreciate your time. Remember that the moment we believe that we cannot even dream like a free bird is the moment our will has flopped.
