@@robertperez2262 (different account, same person) I played clarinet. You can see me in parts of the recording. I was fourth from the end when they focus on the clarinet row. At 14:43 we were all playing a different note and entering at a different time. It was the most stressful moment of my undergraduate career. It's nice to see it was immortalized lol.

I think it was 2014, the LaPhil in consortium with UCLA, USC, and the Northridge Concert bands performed Corligiano's Circus Maximus. I loved Corliagno for his The Red Violin Score. So I bought Row AA tickets. At the entrance to the Walt Disney Concert Hall was a sign reading "Tonights performance features a shot gun blast". That finale after 8 movements of serious and at times aggressive aural and physical surround sound! There's a reason why the audience didn't know how to respond for 15 seconds after the blast. The UNT is iconic. What a great performance!
