Good hints on how to help fix the duplicate issues we find in FamilySearch Family Tree. One thing to note is before any duplicate is merged you need to make sure that you research the information first and make with a reasonable certainty that the two people are in fact duplicates of each other. Too ofter there is not enough information in the "duplicate". Also before removing alternate names make sure that the person did not infect have or was born under another name. If these cases do exist - make sure that you add a note to the person so that other researchers are aware of the name change, and of course as with any fact add a source of your information.

I started some cleanup There are 2 record hints I have found that when I go to add them they ALREADY are added What is going on with that???

Last time I went into my tree on Familytree.org, I noticed that someone is adding the wrong family in my tree. Their is a whole family that needs to be fixed. I actually have a tree elsewhere on the computer also. I am very upset that someone put this family.
