I just collect M:TG cards these days, but I got hooked in high school during the era of Unlimited. Love it.

Refering to when you started by expansion and not by year. That's such a MTG thing. I started when Fallen Empires came out.

Right? Like i know I started magic during Dragons of Tarkir and that's the response I always give when someone asks

Cool! I started in 1995. Stopped about 5 years later and recently started up again. My early years were a ton of fun, everything was so new.

Stumbled into this video via recommendation and was surprised to see a store I've been to! I've played in some Kill Team tournaments at Titan over the last two years. Enjoyed the video, and I started playing Magic in Revised, then Return to Ravnica, then Wilds of Eldraine.

Great documentary. I played from 1997 to 2005 and from 2017 to now. I have been through a lot of formats, and my current interests are premodern and standard decks from the premodern era. My most nostalgic card is Nantuko Shade, and my favorite of all time is probably Spiritmonger. Lots of nostalgia for Invasion and Odyssey blocks.

My girlfriend showed me magic a couple of month ago. Getting to know the Game during a pandemia is a way different experience than before I assume. So its so cool to see this lil video right here and see the community behind the game in their "natural" un-pandemic state.

I love my Mishra's Workshop that I got in one of the 4 packs of Antiquities that I was lucky enough to buy back in early '94. Leaving them in a closet for twenty years was also a good choice.

Maaan this gives me so many good feelings. Magic is now part of my life for 20 years. I will always keep my favorite treasure a foil Phage from Legions. Back in the days I pulled her and all the other kids were like "this is so freakin busted we need to ban her"😀 So I double sleeved the card and gave her a toploader. Since that day she is always on my bedside table. Not my most expensive card but the most valuable for me.

I theoretically started with Core Set 2014, but only played random 60 card pile multiplayer with a few friends After finishing School and not really seeing those friends anymore I started regularly playing Commander at my LGS That was during the end of Eldritch Moon just a few weeks before Kaladesh came out I have a lot of fond memories of that tkme

I would put more dedication to Magic the gathering if I would have friends to play with cause the MTG community is so hard to trully blend in and make friends with it's tough I try to get other guys to play magic with me and they just don't want to play cause they don't like it or not into it so it's hard
