"Fatal Destination" about ignoring Dr Hill and changing the past is just that variation that was already in the base game, where when you are done with the prologue and after Dr Hill says "What happened has happened, the past cannot be changed" if you load back and change the prologue, you will have different dialogue with Dr Hill recognising the fact

The Ashley trophy really intrigues me. I often see people online debate this scene and whether Ashley was completely frozen in shock and couldn’t move, or if she left Chris outside on purpose, and the fact that the trophy was called "Ashley snaps" was often used to argue the latter. But now, the trophy name is more ambiguous, the description uses the word "hesitated" and there could potentially be a QTE added that puts the decision in players hands. Very interesting, almost seems like they’re trying to redeem Ashley a bit.

I always got the sense that ashley hesitated, watched him die, and then snapped AFTER the fact realizing it was her fault he died ngl

I always assumed it was intentional from Ash that she didn't help. I swear there's a flashback in that moment and she remembers Chris pointing the gun at her so she steps back and leaves him. I am very intrigued if there's more this in the new game though! ~ Jack

Agreed with all of this! Totems is interesting. I swear there was 30 before and now there's 36. So I wonder if those totems are exclusive to new branching or maybe they just show other existing paths. ~ Jack

3:30 So in the original game Mike does have plot armour but if you fail the sanitorium scene it ends that encounter early. I believe this achievement is a reward for actually completing the scene fully instead of failing early and skipping the rest.

The 'best ending for Josh' may not be a new ending entirely. It might just be the ending where he becomes a wendigo as opposed to being killed by one. It would be very interesting if there was a new option instead though

I first started watching Until Dawn related stuff in 2016 and never bothered with achievement names. Roughly a decade later, I recognize a lot more of the horror movie/horror trope nods in this mixture of classic achievements and newer ones. I am excited to see the improved lighting, character models, sound design, and maybe a few added/edited lines in the script. *humming Frère Jacques* Oh Hannah and Beth, you were both taken far too young, but your brother may yet be given the option to survive (as a human) after his fans clamored for it for years.

The one where the music box is playing in the basement when Ashley and Chris find "the prank from last year" diorama in the dollhouse, this is the one I thought of. You could be talking about the final chapter of the game where an eerie vocal version plays as Josh's scheizophrenic "demons" come out in full force.

Still sticking with the horror film references, i have some thoughts on some of these achievements (spoilers ahead): -Fatal Destination: could be when you replay the prologue and take the alternative choice, dr. Hill does have a different dialogue about us trying to change the past. - An American Survivor in Canada: doesn't necessarily mean Mike can die, if he fails to escape, Sam would come to the Sanatorium and rescue him. - nightmare on Ashley Street: this could just be Chris's death if he "shot" Ashley and she would leave him to die, i always thought it was retribution for his act but guess she just panicked. - We Need To Talk About Josh: not to break your hopes, but if you think about it, it only says best ending, not Josh survives. Besides, we already have an everyone survives trophy, wouldn't Josh be part of the group if he could survive? So why make this trophy anyway?

I think that was their way of fixing the OG, meaning instead of “saving” everyone it’s basically saying you gave him his best outcome. Dead being the worst one and wendigo(somewhat alive) being his best outcome, keep expectations in check man

Also I’m very happy this is a thing because I played the og until dawn when I switched from ps4 to ps5 so my hours on the game got bugged out so it only says I have 3 hours. Excited to actually get a lot of play time shown on my account and have fun experiencing the game again with the new changes!

I can’t wait for this game! I been waiting for a Remastered since the game first came out! What I’m curious, I know they took out the don’t move I’m curious if it’s a button like the quarry where you hold a button like the don’t breathe technique basically that will be interesting to see because it wouldn’t be the heart beat unfortunately because this game is not made by supermassive who made the first game, but however, as I’ve seen through the teaser of new scenes, it looks very interesting. The part that Emily slapped ash I don’t remember that part in the Original game probably because I didn’t get that maybe but that’s pretty cool to see that for the first time off this video. The part of Mike and Jess with the camera wondering if that is the bad selfie. And yes, Mike has plot armor indeed for some odd reason, socially if you tried to kill him off of the one place with a lot of Wendigo’s 😂 that man shouldn’t die lol. The part when Ash Don’t open door for Chris that would be interesting if it’s a quick action like you have a choice if you wanna open the door or not open it basically. That couch scene I feel like that’s gonna be in the beginning! The first trophy that actually if you get all the trophies, so it’s like a 100% completion or platinum on PlayStation. Gosh I am so excited for this game! Oh forgot to mention I don’t know if you guys did any Easter eggs for the casting of Frank stone I believe that picture with the house on fire with the spirits like ghost is, I would have to say that is definitely until Dawn reference not dark pictures Little hope at first I thought it was a little Hope Easter but looking at it it looks like the reference of the Washington house smaller but on fire and when you kill, Wendy goes, you know that their spirits come out I thought I would share that with you guys. I don’t know if you figured it out but pretty cool to see that in the casting of Frank stone!

Snap Azur! So pumped to watch Liams playthrough later on. The don't move replacement will certainly be an interesting one. Because I love the don't move concept and the difficulty felt appropriate. Other games SM have implemented have felt on the easy side of things so let's see what BM have up their sleeves! And yeah I spotted that in Frank Stone! Definitely felt more of an UD reference than anything else, I've played UD enough time to recognise that iconic shot. Because it's Sony property though they maybe kept it slightly obscure, whereas the HoA one was sooooo obvious. ~ Jack
