My theory is that since both the Miners and Hannah/Josh Wendigos come in different 'batches' from different times, the Wendigos are only hostile to the ones that isn't in their batch, which is why they ganged up against Hannah

@@gameplus1997 100% agree on the humanity part but Hannah can still rip Mike's stomach open which is honestly more sadistic than death. It's actually a secret that you can only get if you choose you dislike gore during the therapy sessions (iinm); when you choose so, if Hannah attacks Mike in the final lodge scene, it'll use the model of Mike with his intestines hanging out when she attacks him, but its really subtle because of the dark lighting and the frame not showing it fully which is why most people don't even know Mike can get slaughtered that way

I have a little theory on why the wendigos fight each other here. I think the alpha wendigo possessing Hannah knew it had Josh as a backup since, depending on your actions, Josh is still alive but trapped somewhere in the mines. So it takes out the competition and then immediately goes to possess Josh afterwards. That or it didn't want the other wendigos taking its food like most predators fighting over prey.

This game was so good. When I completed it I felt a rush of nostalgia, thrown back to the the year of 2000 or earlier when scary movies were AAA movies, young pack out for fun but there is a killer on the loose, they try to unveil the mystery behind it and survive. I hope we get more gems like that in the future, I really like the genre and being able to control the protagonists is pretty dope. It's like you are part of the movie and can actually take smart decisions for once.

My theory; Based on what choices the player makes, either Hannah has a shred of humanity left and is protecting her friends from the other Wendigos in the end and allowing them to escape... Or... She is a full blown vengeful monster, and after slaughtering her former friends throughout the game, the final scene simply depicts her establishing dominance amongst the other Wendigos while simultaneously hunting Sam and Mike. It's even hinted at such, due to the amount of blood on her face and chest during this scene; the more she has taken out, the more bloody she is, and the darker the overall scene is to the player. This would indicate just how far gone she is. Just my observation, it's entirely possible I'm very wrong.

Blows my mind the devs behind this game have never released a game since that even comes close to until dawn the quarry was mid idk why they didnt do real werewolves instead of red furless wendigoos basically and all their other games range from 5 to 6 the quarry was just a better 6 than those though

some absolute garbage i literally put my controller down for this scene so i wouldn't accidentally move and it "detected movement" anyway 🤦🏼‍♀️

I recorded more until dawn content yesterday and I did the sand put the controller down during do not move ,just put it down in empty space and it should work fine

@gameplus1997 i did that and it didn't work xD it's been years since i played it maybe it had a bug fix or something idk
