The fact that she said she puts no one first aside from herself and her son was really sad. I know this man has made some mistakes. Listening to Brandi is giving the old saying "I forgive you but I won't forget". It appears based in this video she didn't have the proper time/space to "mourn" the relationship she thought she had and deserved. And the stage she is now in is fear. So her subconscious is creating drama/trauma a familiar "safe space" as protection from the unknown. This is why I whole heartily agree with putting "God first" and "We over me". But you have to add "there has to be a Me for a We". Meaning each person needs to pray separately and have their own identity, goals and ambitions they can work on in addition to but in alignment with the family/marriage goals.

Marriage is work constantly but it should not be hard work. To me if you have to work that hard something is wrong. My husband passed away after almost thirty years together. He had ALS. My niece asked me if I was ready to date again. I told her no because God Blessed me with a good husband after I survived a bad marriage. I was married twice with one divorce and one until death. I was my husband's caregiver. He passed away as I lay beside him holding his hand. Would I do for another man what I did for him? The answer is no so there will not be another marriage for me but I thank God for the husband I had. I believe God gives you who you need and not always who you want.
