until my blood runs clear [.MIDI, Edirol VSC]

i used to be pretty uptight about only posting DOG PARK RECORDINGS material here but i'm a computer musician dammit and i will post my silly little computer tunes if i please. i guess if this were for the label this would be attributed to dawgbytes... whatever.
i haven't wrote a for MIDI format in... good lord, 15 years?? i'm trying to brush up on it for funsies cause so i did this in like 30 minutes then an other two hours trying to figure out the best way to record it :v module is the old Edirol Virtual Sound Canvas VST. i wrote it in OpenMPT which is a nightmare for MIDI i am learning quickly but it works. i thought i'd be able to get away with some further editing in Reaper's piano roll but that is actually bullshit doodoo, even more so than whatever OpenMPT can do with MIDI lmao.
i'm gonna spend some more time getting better at writing .mid. perhaps work my way to getting an SC88 Pro if i start feeling more comfortable? sometimes working within the limitations of a sound module is perfect for when i wanna just "be a musician on the computer" instead of producing a whole thing - though i still am working on my bigger projects hehe.
