To address the first part of your comment: I'm against P2W in general because most kids don't know about P2W. if we can assume all the players are consenting and knowledgable adults your view would make sense. But kids simply don't know what P2W is. And if they do, they dont fully understand the extent to which P2W can be damaging. And gambling and P2W are almost always mutually exclusive

I used to be a founding admin of this server, and I'll say it didn't use to be this way. It actually used to be fun, and the ranks were merely for cosmetic purposes and such. I was doing so much for LF that I wanted to be paid for the amount of time I was putting into running the server and doing management, but at the end of the day I was expendable and was not part of the group of staff that LF was extremely sympathetic to. I ended up leaving with another who felt the same (shoutout Namu) and I have an infinitely better lifestyle compared to when I was volunteering for this server. I regret ever associating with LF, his brothers, and most of his staff, as they are completely unprofessional when it comes to a workplace that makes money, and completely and utterly committed to money making.

From what I’ve seen they don’t care about anything but money, as they’d completely neglected anything but the survival servers that made them money, even though they had creative servers that were dead. As staff i couldn’t point out anything that bothered me about how they ran the server as they’d just threaten to remove me from the staff team. If you were friends with the higher ups you could basically cheat the on the servers, using creative mode and such while you laughed about it, while if you weren’t friends with management they’d get angry for doing the exact same if not less. The reason I ultimately left was cuz I didn’t want to be part of it.

Honestly happy to see Loverfellas server get crashed, I used to be a moderator for his server back before when he was 750k subs and he grew so quickly and his server became p2w slowly as I was climbing the moderator team. I gave away a ton of OP loot they were selling through keys, they had to reset the whole servers eco and the map cause I had loot stashed everywhere to giveaway. Don't regret doing it, and will never regret doing it

Screenshots are like manual timestamps or shortcuts. Helps you to find the frames easier if you have an approximate time (given by the screenshot filename). Then you just need to know when you started recording it or have a clock recorded in the video and baaam, you're there.

Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for doing this. Servers like this are crawling with disgusting adults wanting to exploit kids in every way imaginable. I was 12 and talking to a 26 year old over Minecraft on the Lifeboat server. The convo moved over to Google+ very quickly. This was before Discord was around, but the situation was the same. This grown man asked me for money and yk, other things. I was smart enough to say no at the time, but many others my age were not. I'm almost 19 now, and the fact these spaces catered to children have been ruined even more by scammer adults trying to make a quick buck and predators preying on innocent children is absurd. I feel Mojang/Microsoft need to start stepping in as well, considering Minecraft is one of THE most vulnerable gaming spaces where shit like this is constantly occurring. I hope you and others continue to do these little acts of fun justice. I get entertained seeing them and relieved knowing kids aren't getting scammed into a gambling addiction lmao 💙

Realistically, I guess Mojang struggles to do anything about it as there's nothing immediately illegal in someone being "over friendly" in messaging, it's the age gap that makes it suspect but a bot scanning the chat can't detect that kind of subtlety - which I guess the ones doing it know. Anyone experiencing that should take screen shots at least and report it to admins/mojang if its obvious someone's trying to manipulate. Most important of all, NEVER give any personal details out online.

I know both Mojang and Microsoft can't be responsible for what goes on outside of their platforms and it's mostly on parents to monitor what their kids do, but I think if they took report cases more seriously that would contribute to less issues for sure. I've reported countless Minecraft users with substantial evidence and only so many of them were dealt with (likely due to bot monitoring or more serious cases hopefully being passed onto the proper people) It's really unfortunate and I wish they were more cautious on their end of things. I will say they've improved over the years tho!

@@Anyone1338 moving the item probably isn't the issue, from the sound of it the game probably searches the entire list of crafting recipes every time someone uses the recipe book. This usually isn't an issue since such a time-consuming operation like searching through that entire list usually isn't a problem when people craft once every couple of minutes, but when you send that request several dozen times per second, then you start running into issues

You should use barrels to store items, as they arent entities. Filling in the base with a solid block will make it basically invisible.

I usually crash the servers first because admins will just go on high alert if you contact them and argue for hours. But since I figured I had somewhat of a platform I tried to talk to loverfella. Still, 2mil views later not a peep, although he did block me on twitter lul
