EQS is silly and definitely not a looker... but compared to the Y, it's a damn near a supermodel. I find the Y could perhaps hold it's own next to rotting asshole of a plague ridden predatory bird, but in any other setting it's kinda out of luck. But yeah, two very different and silly cars. One is super expensive, unnecessary luxury couch with overcomplicated silliness, the other is cheap plastic garden shed bolted to a shitty chassis, but comes with a tablet and decent powertain.

Yes I do. I also feel like it’s making the car handle quite a bit worse then it actually could.

It's mostly due to the 21 inch wheels. The long range version feels much better.

Yeah, I think wooden wheels would probably be better than the 3,0 bar OEM tyres. Also, the heavy weight compared to the LR version to harm straight line performance. But I think either way, the suspension is really letting the car down. I personally would love to see a super comfortable setup

Since I always drive at those speeds im used to poor range. 150 to 250km is not unusual

Yeah and that eqs is like twice as expensive. Just ordered a 2023 model y long range from Berlin with the red multicoat and EAP, it can go 220 km/h max, plenty fast enough. I would not drive over 150 km/h anyway to have it mostly efficient and less stopping during a 1000km trip or more. A better route planner app which integrades with tesla is freaking great additional app to use and easy supercharge everywhere through the whole autobahn.

Congrats great color. 220 is plenty fast till you find ourself on an empty road. I always have the same feeling about 250 it’s enough until it’s not 😂 And yes abrp is by fare the best thing that has happened to evs. I always use it especially since I try to only charge at ionity

@@TopSpeedBrothers I live in Norway so we dont have these highway speed anyway, but I do go on a roadtrip every summer through Europe. 150km/h is fast enough through Germany, the EVs are not yet for driving 250km/h+ for a long time, not until we get solid state batteries or cars with 150-250kwh capacity but with the same weight as the 82kwh capacity. I dont drive that fast especially with children and wife on board. The super charging network in EU is great! . Just hope that the charging prices gets cheaper and in summer they usually are.

It's limited at 210 kmh for lack of downforce to improve range. Faster than210 and it would become very unsteady

@@KownKR7 traveling but with internal combustion engines, they are more efficient on roads than electrics, apart that they can reach higher top speeds compared to electric cars. Electrics are good for city or to make 0-100

@@aaronx1377 No EVs are way more efficient than ICE. Even a really efficient ICE which uses like 5 l/100km is inefficient compared to an EV. 5l are 50 kWh, with 50 kWh a normal EV can travel more than 200km. Only when it comes to really high speed ICE are less inefficient than EVs
