I will share my experience, I drive the same Megane but with the basic interior (analogue dials + basic radio and a normal key) and you get for the money a really decent car. It is really comfy, fun to drive and very economical. The average consumption in my case was never more than 4,9 l/100 km in mixed condition. On the paper it might not look like a lot of bhp but the engine works fine, is alive and not loud. It has also enough power to drive it on the highway and on roads that are not even, hills etc. Inside it is very comfortable, has good seats and there is more then enough space. So far after almost 70 000 km which I have done (the car has almost 109 000 km on the clock) I did mostly some basic maintenance: - oil + filters - new front shock absorbers (one was damaged) - break discs+pads at the back - front break pads - timing belt + waterpump (interval is 6 years or 120 000 km) Hope that you got a bit more clear picture.

for 110ch its really not that bad 1:12 ppl thing thye are bad cars but thye are really not thye are very good thats why the engine of renault is in some of the mercedes and also you should try the renault cilo 2 phase 2 and 1 v6 cus thye are super cool phase 2 is for handing and phase 1 is for drifting love your relaxing vidéo !

This vid doesn't give any impression from how it's an family car in city drive/countryroad etc. But cred for db-mic, which is rare in pov-vids! However, now I know that this car is a splended choice to get-away-from cops I guess, and drive like a maniac..? Buuuut I think I would more look for M5/M4/AMG, in that case. Do people buys these type of cars for this type of driving?? If no, makes this vid useless.

I bought a well cared for secondhand 2008 107 last year because I was looking for my first car and, for some reason, I've always liked this platform of cars (Aygo/C1/107) before I even got my driver's license and before I even learned to tell engine sounds apart based on cylinder count and configuration. They simply have always looked like a cheerful triplet of cars to me. And I have to say I've fallen in love with my 107 ever since! Especially with the 1KR-FE I3 engine and the way it sounds, which is like a V6 cut in half! A baby V6, hehe! In fact, the sound (plus this platform being a Toyota in disguise) was the main reason why I chose this car, as opposed to any I4 powered car of its size! And thanks to the low weight (about 900kgs) and the small wheels (14-inchers on mine), this engine is also very gutsy, despite the tall gearing. Even with new tires, on my first drive after I bought the car, I tried a spirited standing start and I remember spinning the wheels for half the 1st gear! But I had no idea it can go up to 170-180 km/h (provided it's stock, of course)! Man, we're talking about an overachiever here! 😎 Brilliant little cars these are, I suggest you get one and not only as your first car! 🙂💗

For city use, it's good enough, despite the lack of power, which isn't too bad. I drive an 87hp version and find it a bit slow, you tend to push the pedal a bit. After all, it's not a Renault Velsatis, but it's not too bad for a city car, which was one of the most versatile in its class at the time.
