There are actually many possible explanations, the fact they never confirm anything can work in our favor Mark's embarrassment could mean he exaggerated how well the date with the stranger went It's entirely possible the epilogue showed a speed dating event. Any number of his dates could have gone well Mark's dad mentions his date being a week ago. It's entirely possible it "went well", they never followed up, and then Mark had to start over I'm not coping you're coping

when he said his date went well, i assumed that both nicole and marks dates failed and they eventually talked to each other. which is why his date "went well" keep in mind lil dude went on 4 dates that led to nothing but he said he had a "good feeling" about this one.. which just so happens to be the only time that he crosses paths with nicole 🤔 totally not a coincidence and i'm not delusional i'm just a marcole truther till i die

I’ll give you some hope, dad said mark had a great date last week, since we have no idea HOW LONG ‘last week’ he said is, it could be 1 years or more after his date we saw in epilogue. So if you still believe in Marcole, there’s a chance that they might meet after the epilogue date and somehow Nicole couldn’t be in this scene. (I’m trying to give myself a big hope too😢)

ye, if u believe in marcole then they probably swapped dates at the end of that scene. so a great date feels intentionally ambiguous so that we choose.

Why is everyone so convinced that Mark and Nicole didn't end up together, all because they never showed it? You don't cause the end of the universe by meeting some random girl too early, you don't get deja vu over a hundred times, in which you got married in every single one of them. Not to mention, implying that they don't get together would be them telling their fans "f@$k you all" like making a Batman game where he pulls out a revolver and shoots Joker
