This is the first Nigerian movie I’ve watched in over a decade. Jeez I’m soo glad I really did watch this one. See my scrolling through this channel to look for more movies. This was soo fun watching. Practically told my story. I’m dating my best friend’s sister atm and I was soo scared to tell him too but when he discovered, he offered his blessings telling me there’s no better person for his sister but me, he’s always wanted to hook us together but didn’t want the hook up thing for it not to end bad and it be like he was the one who forced me to date her sister. This movie is sooo beautiful and relatable. Watched it with my girl and she was crying the whole time 😂

It's rare, but I watched this movie with a smile plastered on my face. And that was when Isoken was not making me laugh. There is no gap between her heart and her mouth, and such characters are rare in real life but a joy to be around. Rume's dull life going forward is going to receive an overdose of an authentic personality. I like the way she got into his head and eventually made space for herself in his heart. This is a Netflix grade movie.

The casting director did an excellent job👌 in casting Omeche for the role of Isoken. I don't think anyone could have pulled that role off so adorably organic like she did 👏. She has always been a natural on screen right from the Best friends series. And her chemistry with Maurice remains organic as it was in that series. I found it pleasant at how Isoken's brother knew what a stand-up man Rume was and was thus assured of his sister's future. I couldn't help bursting into laughter when the brother was rather warning Isoken not to break Rume's heart 😀😀. Everyone did great 👏👏.

So many interesting scenes. The shock on his face when she said ‘Rume’ and his response was ‘Rume? Gen Z are moving mad’, I had a good laugh cause i know of a Gen Z that I taught when she was younger and Aunty this, she calls me by name now. I love how natural this movie is, especially how they both developed their love. Too many emotional scenes. Lovely movie. Well done to the cast and crew.
