Epic exclusivity is literally a pyramid scheme, and exclusives hurt developers in general. Development costs are recouped by selling the game, not by buying into a deal with the devil.

Usually Epic Store just wants the game to be exclusive for a few months before the developers are allowed to release it on other stores. So yeah, might be epic exclusive for now but it will definitely get a steam release in some months.

Another game added to my pile of games I won't be buying. Check my steam library if you think I'm bullshitting when I say that I'm the target demographic of 90% of game developers. This strategy is unfeasible in the long run, these indie devs keep taking the pile of guaranteed money, but they're not winning over future purchasers, so their next game better pray for Epic to still be willing to dump money in their laps
