This is the best song about addiction that I've seen. It does not glorify it, nor does it condemn it. It portrays it simply as a human condition, pathological to our development individually, but emphatically relatable to our condition universally. There is understanding mixed with condemnation, which is a refreshing divergence from the norm.

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the unusual style&sample elements Unto others are using, combined with parts from different types of genres. They have their very own&specific handwriting in their songs, you'll wont find anywhere else 🖤 Gabriels' unmatched voice, singing in the most monotonous way youll possibly imagine, just captivates me in a way nobody elses voice can; I'd recognise them instantly, even under a hundreds of millions of artists. What really shook me a little & got me right off the bat: that his voice sounds so incredibly UNBOTHERED while addressing arguably the most profoundly poignant topics you can think of. The heart breaking issues Adressed in the song Texts, have some sort of bitter sweetness to it; And you really get a hard time while listening to them& deciding whether you either surrender through cynicism or even find your "strength" by means of your "destiny" (*🦅 noises) The topics mentioned, are permanently relevant one's; I guess the majority of people living on this earth, will most likely get in touch to one of these topics anyway & at least be affacted or know so.whos affected by it AT LEAST once (!) Someday in their life time; to List a few here: Heroin addiction, family abuse, endure harmful exploitative systems The topics covered often refer to subjects as the meaning of life, death, violence, nihilism ... Even though I luckily got rid of my nihilistic beliefs & impedimental thoughts, I am STILL madly in love with that obsorbing feeling I had back then. I am just intrigued by the Bands way of incorporating that very feeling into their signiture sound. I am in awe of their art work & of conveying the notions of despair, hopelessness & also vanity; while still getting a sense of Anger & zest of action across, arosed out of injustices. At least thats MY interpretation 😃 Their music sounds exactly like the melody of my soul & I never found a Sound that suits perfectly for everything I love & like. First time listening to "give me to the night", I immediately felt like home & understood 🌘 🌙 🌕 Honorable mention: at my first UO concert last year in Düsseldorf (w/ behemoth+arch enemy), I couldnt pull my eyes away from the passion + guitar skills Sebastian showed us on stage. He was (in) the Moment; it truly was a joy to witness him perform, like theres no tomorrow:) tossing & flipping his hair 😋. Im a little disappointed that they mentioned upcoming gigs in Germany during this year, but unfortunatley there are none yet :(((( you guys are far too talented to be a mere support or opening act. Bands you should consider going on tour with: the night eternal, wolfskull, dark tranquility, oceans of slumber, night demon, Kryn, Rotting christ, mastodon & baroness😍🤩

Hate to say it, but it’s how I feel in my heart. Some days I miss the rush, but I have to live my life clean now. I miss all drugs tbh. But, no one can go on like that forever. If you do get off it and go the Suboxone route plz don’t stay on it too long. Taper off really quickly. I hope you find the help you need. My step son used an opiate at some point too. If you can try marijuana concentrates like edibles and shatter to help take the edge off, you may prevent relapse better. It's how my step son quit. You may want to also find a way to an Ayahuasca retreat if you are able to detox long enough. That can reset your reward center in your brain.
