Stigma is a barrier we need to be able to openly discuss all health challenges and receive appropriate timely support and treatment. Sorry for your loss.

Thank you for sharing your story. It took so much courage. love, understanding & caring on your part to come forth & tell your journey. I to recently lost my son to fentanyl on July 9/21 & you are so right as no one wants to openly talk about drug addiction. We tend to hide our feelings, our thoughts because we will be judged. People always say which is not true that children learn from their parents. Yes I guess in a sense they do learn from the parents in most things but not necessarily when it comes to addiction or alcoholism which are both considered a disease. In my case my son never learned to have an addiction from his home life. I feel your pain & suffering. Thank you once again.....

Thank you for sharing his story and your journey. I lost a brother to suicide and the journey is a tough one when it comes to mental health and addiction. Thank you for your strength.
