@@kanishkkala8324 I too cleared advanced with decent rank last year without solving any of cengage or irodov or anything but getting to branches like CSE/ECE/Electrical/Mechanical in top IIT is a difficult task . What they also are doing is mixing up two easy concepts to make it look really scary, few examples 1. The 2020 adv question:two large discs.... Where they have simply mixed. Fluid dynamics with electrostatics where only a simple terminal velocity formula required 2.a point charge q and mass m ...... Where they have involved mechanics(work donand) into dipole which was not at all required but ok😅 anyways it made the prob tough 3. mixing moving coil galvanometer with magnetsim although it Is somewhat related but not directly(in adv 2018 as well as 2019) -->most probably they r going to mix more concepts of heat and therm, fluid or solids with 12th class topics -----all inputs appreciated ☺️🙌 And yess u earn a subscriber

India is such a diverse country where everybody don't get same level of education. Imagine a class 11 or 12 kid studying normally from his/her school teachers. How can he/she solve such type of problems which he/she is never trained for. There is a hypocrisy from IITs and government who says students should not go to coaching centres and prepare by themselves and focus on NCERT books. How can a kid of normal school solve such type of problems by focusing on just school and NCERT. By desigining such exam for age group of 17-19,they themselves are encouraging coaching system.

Not only in 2020 this had been done in past years as well... the questions are chosen by professors who teach to undergraduate students at IITs mainly from physics chemistry and mathematics department at IIT...so naturally they ask questions from undergraduate level concepts and reduce the level required to make it approachable for jee advanced aspirants with their syllabus... For example thevenin's theorem, superposition principle, etc relativistic Doppler effect, etc from physics Hermitian matrix, diagonalization of matrix, orthogonal transformation, etc have been asked in the past... though the questions were so framed that students can handle with the syllabus they are told for the exams... It's always better to put some extra effort in each and every high weightage important topic to go in detail upto undergraduate level.... It will help for sure

The thing is that all the questions can be solved by the theory in the JEE syllabus I am not saying that all questions are easy but yes there isn't any question which needs undergraduate level knowledge, it's just the difficulty that makes us feel so

Try giving an 8th class child your quadratic equation problems , he will definitely feel it difficult whereas for a serious aspirant it is easy so there you go!

@@PagalPaneer Do we even need to be serious aspirants to join BTech programmes??? IITs are not research institutes nor they have any good position at the world level.

But the most important part is to get a decent rank (not the top ones) you don't need to attempt these questions, solve other easier questions and you can easily get a rank within 4k or 3k.

this actually goes to show how the JEE advanced is much more than just a simple exam, prepared with such precision, its astonishing to me how detailed the research is. Makes me fall in love with it even more and actually gives meaning to call it an engineering exam than the people defaming its glory by calling it a rat race exam!

Sirf coaching material karne se meta, mining, textile, biotech in branch pe atak jate hai old IIT's me hai sharing from my last year's experience unless you do material from FITJEE or top batches . 2020 exam was the toughest in last 10 years i would say.

Hi, this was a very interesting video. I am sure paper setters do take inspiration from multiple sources, at IIT Guwahati we had organised an all india exam for school kids, and for inspiration we would look at several problems, I am sure our profs too do the same while setting the jee adv paper.
