Unused Supreme QTEs

After poking at Supreme in particular, it turns out they also scrapped about half his attacks. The Giganto bite/mega laser attacks shown here are actually present in Supreme's regular moveset and appear in game correctly (no weird camera issues), though they function identically to Giganto's. Supreme is surprisingly receptive to modding, so I'll see if I can rework this fight substantially.

Also what hapen to supreme wings? I couldnt find any texture for them, and I know the cutscene isnt pre rendered, but they arent stored on the model or anything similar, are they in the cutscene file for the phase change?

Honestly they could skimp on it saying they're focusing on adding new features rather than tweaking what's already in the game. Some devs/companies avoid this kind of "improvement" patches because it'd be admitting the vanilla game was unfinished.

This is sort of random, but I kind of love the idea of fighting supreme above or under water, not only because it means you fight each of the titans in different biomes, but it also would show that the thing keeping you on these islands is now no longer an issue with super sonic. They obviously won't do this considering the state the game is in, but it's a fun thought

Another missed opportunity was destroying a bit of the island's environment throughout the final fight (sorta like that first cutscene with Giganto). Since there's no save state after this they could've gone wild with the map without having to think about the "open zone" gameplay.

Honestly, After looking at Supreme, a interesting theory came to me, Supreme looks and acts a lot like Giganto, and then i wondered, is Supreme made using giganto as a base, or the other way around? Some of these moves look very fitting with Supreme to just remove, and they seem quite functional, i wonder if the reason was that, after making Supreme, they realized they needed one more Titan and then made Giganto using Supreme as a base, then translated some attacks, maybe at first the idea was to keep both with very similar things, but later realized that they either didn't had enough time to polish both, or decided to try and make them more unique, even both problems could happened at the same time, and then decided to give Giganto Priority since he's the first boss and first impressions are more important. The only reason of why i am saying this is because, at least i feel like the camera work of the QTE of the laser beam seems better here than in Giganto, maybe it's just me, but i think it's a interesting theory Edit: Another reason that just ocurred to me, Chronos and Ouranos (Alongside Rhea) Seem very similar, and we even know that they were originally the same island, coincidentally, being both islands the ones where Giganto and Supreme are, maybe this is the reason they suddenly needed another Titan?.

I think, Supreme is clearly a modified Giganto, there was probably originally going to be a different looking Supreme but cause of time constraints they had to re-skin Giganto

Literally For the beta of kronos/rhea/ouranos that were the same island because it turns out that where he faces supreme in the part of ouranos is giganto (which obviously further reinforces the theory that giganto and supreme were the same titan) And another thing in reha islan since there are the 6 towers avían two towers that would appear in kronos and in the last tower leaves you where you appear in ouranos and there is after all the almost equal process of the island you face giganto and there ends the island (beta)

Wow, I never knew about these Deleted QTE. I heard speculation that they were gonna "Fix the Final Boss", not sure which one they're talking about but I'm gonna assume it's Supreme. I admit he was too easy and it didn't last as long the other Titans. If they actually give him more HP but still doable as Level 1 with 100 rings and bring back the Unused QTE that would be great. This would definitely give us the "Most Powerful Titan" vibe for sure.

I always hated that supreme unlike the other titans doesn't have a unique QTE segment. I like his fight, but it just feels so rushed. If they added this QTE back in it would still feel sort of rushed, but it would be so damn cool too.

It's pretty good, but it definitely still needs polish. Supreme has some awkward terrain clipping during parts of it (notably, his leg goes into a hill during his initial pose), and the QTE prompts obscure too much of the screen and happen too fast, causing the scene to play out entirely too quickly, but it's still definitely better than the one they did leave in.

I felt like Supreme was the boss that got left out the most. For the "final boss" of the game it sure was the easiest fight of the whole game. I had more difficulty with the first boss of the game and I wasn't even under leveled when I fought it.

La verdad acá quiero dejar una Idea sobre Supreme. Como sabemos Supreme a diferencia de otros Titanes no tiene una Presentación super Genial como es el Caso de Giganto, Wyvern, Y Knight, Entonces mi idea es la siguiente: Cuando hayamos conseguido la Primera esmeralda del Caos de su Isla Supreme se hará Presente Disparando una Chaos Spear (Eso lo explico más Adelante) a lo lejos, Ya que a ese Titan lo Veo como un Cazador con ese arma tipo Francotirador, Aparte de tener que recolectar Las Esmeralda y enfrentar a todos los enemigos También habrá que tener cuidado con Supreme al ser el Cazador de la Isla, Y si queremos evitarlo habrá que ser muy rápido y escondernos para que no nos Mate, Ya con las 6 esmeraldas del Caos Podremos ir a enfrentar al Titan y subir a su cabeza por la esmeralda del Caos, Pero sorpresivamente en vez de eso habría una Trampa y Tendríamos que cuidarnos de un Robot Guardian Llamado "Hunter" que si lo Derrotamos tendremos que ir al Arma de Supreme ya que allí estará la Última esmeralda del Caos, Y pues en su Batalla pues yo le daría más Vida que los demás Titanes, Además de eso usaría a Hunter Para atrapar a Super Sonic como si fuera una Red para atacrlo directamente, Y pues añadiendo esos los Quick Time Events que dicen en este short pienso que Supreme ya seria un Digno Oponente para ser el Titan Final ¿Están de acuerdo con mi idea?

Fue una oportunidad desperdiciada el que Supreme no recibiera esto en la última actualización, y se nota. Con los otros titanes ya tenemos esta situación en que, para el momento en que los enfrentas, ya tuviste previamente un encuentro con ellos, de modo que las cosas con ellos como que ya son personales (en especial con Giganto, que le dio la ultra madriza de su vida al Sonic), mientras que con Supreme, básicamente debes madrearte a un titán que acabas de conocer, y ese sentimiento que había con los otros tres titanes se pierde aquí

That perfected grand slam was so clean, the way sonic backflips from hitting supreme in the head. I honestly wish they could have reused all the cyloop attacks from the titans to attack supreme. This would be the most strongest out of the 4. Those are just my ideas this fight was just too tame, and not much did it offer. They should add the rifle attacks as qte, or a way to hit sonic. It barely got used.

@@fishly1016 might be a bit redundant but wouldn't it be better if the two where combined or at least placed one after another. I mean at the end of the fight let supreme push you back so it uses the actual qte for sonic avoiding the long shot, then activate this unused one

@@juliamxd9614 At the moment, that isn't doable. The RFL call that (presumably) would've triggered this unused QTE just calls the regular QTE, so it isn't possible to properly implement the two in tandem. Merging the two miiiight be doable eventually, but cutscene tools are very very early days.

Peak Supreme would be him with like, triple or more health, him using his gin outside of the QTE we just got to see, but also adding all the QTEs along with the one(s) already on the fight by default. Also him flying around more after getting those wings, as of you're goi g through all the noss fights prior in kist one fight. Like imagine instead of following Supreme like you did with Wyvern, instead you're clashing in the sky, head to head like on some Dragon Ball Xenoverse shit. so much potential for the fight I swear, could've been top tier

Having the first QTE would have made Supreme more memorable. It doesn't have anything like that involved in the original fight (there was that one near the end where it chucked Sonic out to sea and fired the cannon, but that was quick and didn't do anything to the boss.) I hope not only they add it but also add more to the fight, hearing the main theme song in its entirety is awesome and while the fight is already solid, I feel like they could have had the final Super Sonic fight be a bit more over the top, you know?
