Ive had 34% and i honestly dont think that high thc gets you higher... Its like them old school strains get me more higher longer... 🤷🏽 Edit: It's definitely the terps.
@crisnmaryfam734411 күн бұрын
people are jusy misinformed. Terps flavinoids and flavorents have more of an effect on the entourage effect than massive bribed for thc % levels. Check out DR Riley Kirk. "Cannachem" and other channels. An actual doctor with experience in the subject.

Percentage is important. So is cannabinoid profiles and terpenes. All effect the type of high you get. You can have high THC but low terpene content and lower minor cannabinoids that just doesn't hit like the percentage suggest. You can have lower THC percentage and high in terpenes and minor cannabinoids that will hit harder than the percentage suggests. That being said I still don't mess with any strain under 18%. Percentage does still matter when you have a high tolerance.

Your right I been saying this it’s not that it’s more high it was a more complete high I think cause they grow now with just n-p-k but there is much more with the soil system in real life but you grow suck up everything and just add n p k back all the other minerals not there cause natural ways not adding back well this what I think maybe wrong maybe not plus when I grow people said you not tired of smoking the same thing I say back in days we some the same weed for like 10 years you wanted different weed you go to a different spot now every cycle is a new strain

Only experienced growers care about terpenes profile first...I'm not gonna lie THC percentage was my first concern when I started outdoor in 1997 and indoor in 2005 but when you have enough quantity you focus on quality and then on what you really enjoy the most... I highly doubt that 42% THC is real...

in my experience the thc concentratration dont matter i smoked whitewidow with 20% and it was very mild...another day i smoked "quickone" by rqs with 14% thc and i got so high that i was paniking. i prefer the old strains and i wouldnt even tink about growing new strains. i also prefer a mild high where i can do all i want rather than be too high and fall asleep or just sitting at my couch.

I work at a dispensary that sells Jenny Kush. She is the best weed me, or any coworker has ever had. With that said, 42% is laughable. Average batch is 32/33, highest ever was 37, lowest was 29. Even the 37 batch we all knew was fudging the test data.

In Ca, when it was just medically legal, my dispensary would have their selections in large glass jars where you could see and smell the product. my First criteria is Aroma. I remember smoking some really strong stuff long before all these genetically tailor made flavors and strains. I'm old. The natural organic pot was different. Some worse, some much better. Something is wrong with this store bought weed. It's not the same. Although that hasn't stopped me from growing the seeds from them. It's just different. The smell. The cure. The taste. The high. Everything. They've 'monsantoized' pot.

remember when 'pot' was sold not by 1/8ths and 1/4's but by the finger width? 3 1/2 fingers was an 'oz'. When weed was either Green or Brown? Thai Sticks? Oaxaca? Red, Gold, Black or Purple Colombian? nowadays, what's available is quite mediocre, at best.

@BadBoyV121 сағат бұрын
If you think THC% is a indicator of good then you have a lot to learn about cannabinoids and terpenes and the entourage effect. Sadly most modern cannabis strains fall into the same 3 boring categories.
@enochthewitness-202320 сағат бұрын
@@BadBoyV1 ive been smoking for 25 yrs high grade every day and experienced countless strains from around the world over this duration. there is a huge difference in effects from a strain that is like 15-20% and a strain that is 30-40%. I understand entourage effect from terpenes but this only accounts for very subtle effects. I just spent two weeks being treated to various strains that all surpassed 30%, and the levels i attained in this period were unmatched. Strains like Permanent Marker, Grape Octane, both at 35%. A high grade will give you strong effects you cannot attain on lower grades, such as much stronger body stone and muscle relaxation, much stronger mind high, it can be quite sedative and mildly psychedelic. Usually 3 tokes will be stronger effect than a whole joint of 20% bud. You could smoke back to back joints of 20% bud and not reach the level you would on a joint of high grade. Likely because the way many substances such work in which there is a key time gateway for the thc and other cannanaboids from the bud to enter your body. Only higher grades can make you reach that apex level in the time key, lower grades you miss that mark and only reach a lower plateau.
@enochthewitness-20234 сағат бұрын
@@BadBoyV1 ive smoked for 25 yrs and know from direct experience with hundreds of strains that higher grade strains over 30% hit you with effects and levels that you cannot obtain with lower thc strains. entourage effect from terpenes etc adds only a tiny degree to effects of thc.

You guys should give the genetics of the strains when you’re talking about them. Maybe who the breeder is, etc.. and honestly a lot of these are older strains which doesn’t bother me at all, but I mean like Jenny Kush compared to maybe a blueberry muffin from Humboldt seed Company or something it just seems like these are older cultivars.

All I know is, that I had a source that sold his weed for $75 for !/8th when the going price was about $50, and it was so good, no one complained. And the consistency was so good that no one asked to sample before buying. And I have yet to experience anything as good since it went legal in CA. There was a strain, when it was still only legal medically, called Brutus that was memorable. Now, no matter the price, it's a crapshoot, and mostly, I've been disappointed. I think my blood has more THC than what's on the market today. LOL!!!

Few years ago I'd hear "this much %" and would've jumped on it, becoming more adult makes you realize those high potency strains aren't that important. I've had 32% with superb taste wich is fun to smoke, but also had 35% which was a rough smoke and took a while to smoke it up, because at that point I'd rather smoke the "lesser" 20some %weed that tasted good and was a joy to smoke. Terps over potency.

THC is so overhyped! It’s not about the highest THC Content. The amount and type of terpenes is equally as important to achieve your desired entourage effect. If you’re not a grower; start focusing more on the terpenes than THC level when you go to the dispo.

Great videos. Thanks for sharing. Free up the herb. The unique chemical structure of thiols allows them to interact with other compounds in the cannabis plant, such as terpenes, to create complex aromas and flavors. These interactions contribute to the entourage effect, where the combination of various compounds produces a more potent and effective effect than any single compound alone.Furthermore, thiols have been found to possess antimicrobial and antioxidant properties, which can help preserve the freshness and shelf life of cannabis essential oils. This is particularly important in the cannabis industry, where product quality and consistency are highly valued.Thanking all growers breeders cultivators lovers of the master plant.
