I've been lucky enough to beta test Kick 3 and it's pretty slick. The scalable interface is a big plus, especially for users like myself who have a 4k monitor. What would be great is if SA could develop an equivelant VST for snare drum design, but in the vein of Drumatic VST so that it's entirely synth based as opposed to sample focused. Cheers! 😎❤‍🔥👊

@@sonicacademy I can imagine it's not easy to develop something like that. Have you had a look at Drumatic by E-Phonic? It's a very obscure VST that uses synth layers to create snares in a really unique way. I've been using it for a while now and I picked up on it thanks to Mefjus. It would be great to see something similar with a Kick 3 style interface. Cheers!

Wow, I was skeptical about the value offered compared to Kick 2, but I'm pleasantly surprised. It looks really good not only compared to Kick 2 but compared to the newly released competition as well! Amazing work and hats off for pulling off a lot of great UX improvements!

Amazing VSTi for Kick. This is my first version (did not have the previous Kick versions). Loved how it sounds and is going to help me out A LOT to build the perfect kick for my songs. The only thing I would suggest for the next releases (probably others will find that as well) is allowing to link multiple parameters into 1 Macro knob. The way it is now is just to make it more "easy" to access the parameter, but would be super nice if we would be able to with 1 Macro knob, control multiple parameters at once! But it's just a suggestion, this plugin rocks anyways! Well done!

WOW. Looks like every gripe I had with Kick2 has not only been fixed but massively improved. New features look amazing especially selective keytrack / sustain. I use Kick2 in almost every project, so in time honoured tradition.... SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Love all the new implementation, it's nuts the level you guys achieved with this new version of the plugin. However, the only problem I have is that after analyzing a bass drum and playing a midi note it plays the audio as too high pitched and long, is this normal? I have to tinker a bit with the length of the sub and the click to adjust it to the original. Thanks for such amazing work!

Looking good! I didn't realise Kick was still alive. I'm not a fan of the puppy killing bug though. Do you think you could apply all of this to sub bass, snares, tuned percussion like bongos etc. Maybe it can already be done in kick 3 or maybe you could have a complementary plugin called Perc?

I have a suggestion. Make it very clear when a preset is based on a sample. Many synths today trick me into believing I use a synth based sound when it's in fact a sample. The great thing about Kick 2 is that we always know it's pure synth magic. I would not like that to be gone.

Hey fellas - is there a way to adjust the stereo width of the kick? I'm finding there is way too much stereo information in the kicks I'm analyzing (stealing) and right now it seems like the only way to fix it is with an Ableton utility.

Hello. After analysis, why do you have to drag the the sub into the sub slot and the click into the click slot? Why not just put them in there by default?

It seems there are only the 2 envelopes for pitch and amp right? In the competitors like KickNinja or ThumpOne you can modulate everything with its own envelope. So it would be nice, if there are some envelopes you can assing to the macros (or even everything but that would be too much chaos for the GUI maybe). Without modulating the drive or the reverb-mix, the Plugin is worthless to me.

Looks nice but I’m a bit concerned about the puppy killing feature. In this day and age I find it totally unacceptable to design a plug-in that kills animals just so you can use a feature.
