It is wonderful that the engineers and designers at Vans are working so hard for this inspirational pilot and that her motivation has passed on to them. I am an Ercoupe owner and flyer and I believe that there is no equal to that simple and inspired airplane design. I hope and pray that some of the design features that the engineers and designers come up with can be passed along to the world of transportation in general. Mrs. Cox is a genuine heroine and has already inspired many to do incredible things. Bravo.

Very cool I'd like to suggest another small project. A streamlined pod on the underside that would be a 'garage' for your airplane tug so it wouldn't need to be lifted in and out of the plane...it could just drive into the pod and live inside until you land at your destination. Perhaps a mechanism similar to the type of pantograph that lifts and lowers ceiling-mounted projectors.
