China’s “ can do” attitude really impressed me. Nowdays China can build cars, EVs, cruise ship, destroyers, electro-magnetic catapult aircraft carrier with 5th stealth jet fighters J-35. China also can build high speed train, commercial airliner C919, heavy type twin engine stealth jet fighter J-20, and can launch its moon exploring mission and space station using its own rockets. I heard China will launch its long range bomber H-20 shortly. I feel many developing countries are short of this ‘can do ‘ attitude. They are afraid of failure. They do not have ambition and dream like China.

so why does a 'better' SUV has to be hard sprung? This SUV would most likely be driven in city. so a nicely damped and relaxed driving may attract more buyers

The Atto 3 had soft sprung. It turns out not very comfortable when driving on bumper. It bounces too high and land too low. On flat surface yes is comfortable. So if you driving an SUV with soft sprung on curl road or dip and bumpers... is bad.

It is only tackling the likes of Outlander PHEV. HEVs like Rav4 are different beasts. The market for this absolutely booming segment was 11000 cars last year. Tiny.

95km claim is on the lower model not AWD which is 81km claim … more likely 50-55km in town

dont know.. BYD' Seal AWD the fully electic seadan is about 2.1 toons, its uses about 18 kw/100km around town, This Sealion aws is also 2.1 toons, but alot less aero dynamic, lets say its use 24kw/100km , that means it can do 79.1km on 19kwh battery. I think the figures are reasonable, but lets wait and see.

It will actually use more on the highway. The lower average speed and regen will result in It being more efficient in town

@@ricosun most ev runs an avg 100KM on urban take up about 15kW power mate. Unless you driving on the highway 100KMH speed yes is drain power faster like about 18KW for 100KM.

And FYI an EV is more of an opposite to combustion vehicle where an EV drive in town is more economic than driving on highway.

@@dann5515 Haha thx pointing this out. You are right! I do 15.4kw per 100km in my BYD Seal. I do about 18KW/100km on the highway at 103kmh. I was giving the worest case scenario. I can make an educated guess that this Sealion 6's pure electric range can be and I think 80km urban driving is pretty close.
