Falcon leather and santal austral are my favourites from matière première. The price of the extrait is pretty steep but I’m curious to know how strong it can actually get as the original is pretty potent on its own!

Coriander 39 is great! Just got through a 1.5ml and I can confirm it's a delicious uber green leafy cocktail! Much more of the cilantro then the seed, but very vibrant with some sparkling facets and citrus. Very refreshing...

Given the fact that dogs can smell like 100 times more in strength than humans I think it is deplorable to put fragrance on dog. Imagine someone bathing you in too much stinky perfume. I feel bad for any dog that has an owner that uses any scent, even in shampoos.

I love the original Falcon Leather. It’s already beast mode so the extrait might be too intense. I never wear it personally because it’s not the most versatile in my opinion and I haven’t found a situation to pull it off. But I still find it amazing, especially the dry down.

Your new fragrance seems yummy and I am excited to get one! Dogs? People have to be careful about spraying dogs with scents, as their whole muzzle is very, very sensitive -- it is a bit selfish on our parts to want the dog to endure this, even if they smell better to humans. Love everything I have tried from Xerjoff, so this is intriguing (and it has caramel!). September is on the near horizon so I am going to rush over to Le Labo in Silverlake and try their new Coriander (hate cilantro, love coriander). 🤔🤩

Aloha Friend! I spray my pup with a vanilla scent made for dogs ( I cover his nose and eyes with my hand) and he loves it because he associates it with mommy-.time and walks.🥰🐈❤🌺🌺🌺

It's important to do research on animal formulated scents, but typically if they are made for animals, they are safe. Every groomer is (typically) trained to, as the final grooming step, spray with the old school 'dog cologne' which is called Fresh 'n Clean! Any shampoo for dogs or other grooming products for dogs/animals, are formulated with scents that are safe for animals!

I bought and then sold the Sel D’Issey. There is nothing bad about it, its just very safe and in my case was redundant with others I have. There was little to. No spice from the ginger, and the citrus is very kind if vague, not a specific fruit. The seaweed is also very light and friendly. Overall it was a good, but not special fresh summer aquatic. I prefer an Acqua Dell’Elba Classica Uomo EDP which his a more natural and juicy citrus, nicer natural oceanic greens and a subtle musk drydown.

Sebastian - I'm with you on Cilantro as a food - it's actually genetic! Some people have a variant of olfactory-receptor genes that makes the soapy-flavored aldehydes in cilantro leaves taste overly strong. My wife always has to finish my cilantro (she loves it!).

Hi, you have to try Xerjoff Newcleus. It’s strong projects great and very long lasting as with most Xerjoff fragrances. Xerjoff has a unique technique with the scent pearls when it hits the skin releases the scent it’s one of the best rose fragrances I have ever smelled. I’m trying to gate keep it I think most people will not purchase thinking it’s weak. Helps me gatekeep. 😊

There is this niche brand from Dubai called Ramasat. All their perfumes are alcohol free. Oh my… they do last and stay forever. So don’t think they will just disappear if there’s no alcohol.

Excellent News report! The Newcleus is also using the suspended oil molecules (suspended in a seaweed by-product skin/bubble) in this formula. They claim that the oil tech while being softer will still have excellent longevity. I have not tried the Kajal (Lamar Caviar) that uses the same tech yet, so I don't know. Can't wait to try Mojave Ghost Absolute also, I have the original and am curious how different it will be. I think my puppy likes stinky smells too much to wear perfume, but I do like the notes. I bought some of Dolce and Gabbana's Christmas food items as gifts last year and they were kind of fun, the packaging was really nice and they made great gifts. Ylang Ylang has been my summer go to! Apom sounds interesting, I'm not sure Falcon Leather needed an extrait but I know some die hard fans who will be all over it!

I bought the discovery set from Le Labo. I personally don't like coriander but I love Coriandre 39😂. Green at opening and a bit lime scent. It reminds me a mild version of Diptyque Philosykos.

There's a new Sauvage coming out with no alcohol...am on that waiting list As far as the dog one, I mean, it's been tested and it's apaprently fine. Almost more of a fun gift to get someone with a particularly boojie dog, like a Pomeranian.

My wife is a fan of Anna Sui fragrances, particularly the three from the Sundae Collection (Mellow Yellow, Pretty Pink, Violet Vibe) as well as Cosmic Sky. She has some others that she has and enjoys, too, like Fantasia and Secret Wish. As far as I know, Anna Sui has never released a men's fragrance, or even a unisex fragrance. I tend to wear quite a few women's fragrances myself, but most of the ones I've smelled from Anna Sui are what I would call hyper-feminine. Very pretty and girly scents. I'm wondering if this new collection might have a slightly more unisex quality.

I love, love, love encens suave It is the bee’s knees. Falcon leather is a hard no. As is crystal saffron. There is an ingredient in both, along with Dior sauvage, that I am unable to. tolerate. Can’t get away from myself fast enough.

My experience with alcohol-free perfumes is J'adore d'Eau and some Hermetica scents, both brands are very long lasting on me, good 8 hours. I hope more brands go alcohol-free in the future.

Unfortunately the note in the new Le Labo is cilantro and not the seed. It will be polarizing. I have not sampled it yet but I have heard that it is underwhelming.

The new le labo is nice, it’s a herbaceous musk. Most green musks are dark green but this one is more bright green herbs cilantro, mint, with curious mix of warm and cool spices, I almost get jalapeño. Kinda reminded me of Bistro Waters. I liked it but too much musk for me, and too expensive.

I tried Aoud extraordinare. It’s a really good scent. But the name, for me , it’s pure marketing. This fragrance has nothing to do with the Aouds from the line. I was disappointed, although it’s a good scent. Reminded me of Widian IV or a fruity Salam

Invictus Aqua 2024 isn't the same as the discontinued 2016. I'm not a fan of 2024. The notes are similar but I think they use less of the notes and more of the other.... So it's definitely off

Le Labo is coriander leaf, not seeds. To me its underwhelming, lot of citrus, lime is most prominent, green, bit soapy, bit spicy later, but ive smelled similar things plenty of times. The price is out of control for what you get

I’ve only smelled one fragrance from that Les Eaux P brand but I hated it so much that I’m scared to smell any of their others. Couleur Primaire smelled like a urine stained urinal with a urinal cake trying to mask the scent. Quite nauseating for me.

Utterly ridiculous to have a perfume for your dog. It's for rich people with nothing better to do. The alcohol free stuff is terrible so far. Sauvage Eau Forte is bad as well. Not only do they not last, but they don't project at all.
