Thank you for this video. I contribute to the GCD. Currently we are not noting for individual '40s issues like this one, the fact that they were manufactured with half-wraps that were glued in production. We may add such info in the future. Regardless, it's always advisable to perform a page count and compare with our stated number - in this case, 56 interior pages plus 4 for the cover = total of 60. Hopefully, armed with info we've gathered, collectors can be confident regarding how manufacturing practices originally produced their copy. I might add that due to wartime paper restrictions, Adventure dropped to bi-monthly only briefly at the time.

Larry i watched this one back when you dropped it but forgot to comment--I love these single staple comics, and what a discovery that this one has the pages glued in. In addition to the great Nazi cover, the Starman Nazi story by Gardner Fox and Emil Gershwin is a real treat. The dust shadow in particular is mitigated from the aqueous deacidification bath. Paper is preserved and restored for the generations to come!

That is a good looking book, Larry. I agree that it doesn’t need tengu tissue repair. Keep it a blue label! Congrats on getting it and a great first few steps well done.
