outstanding achievement and inspirational. So sad that temporarily there are dark forces that seek to hamper the beautiful accomplishment. Thank you for sharing this marvel.

Ghaddafi made this, and it was one of the first thing America bombed. What are they rebuilding it?
@christainmarks1062 ай бұрын
Ghaddafi definitely and surely had his issues, but I definitely remember him speaking of this project and it was in construction when we went in and well ….destroyed it🤷🏾

it would be cheaper to put desalinators in the MED and create fresh water. Much cheaper.

I think that when they started the project that level of technology was not available, but now they sure can add it to the mix of available resources, as long as it is done with cooperation with nature. imho, all those things need to work in harmony with nature, not taking more than nature is capable of holistically sustaining.

So.. desalination was too expensive? Seems to work in other countries? Fossil water is as renewable as fossil fuels..

From desert areas to coastal cities? You´re repeating it several times and I doubt it works this way.

I'm looking forward to the time when the U. S., hopefully, will lead the way in capping and then piping all throughout our nation, just like Libya has done, a seemingly unlimited freshwater supply in the form of these scalding hot geysers found on the ocean floor where the Ring of Fire is located. We could irrigate all of our nation's arid regions, if we wanted to. We could even make our deserts to bloom, if we wanted to. The point being, we do in fact have this accessibility to an unlimited freshwater supply just off our western coastline, and we have the technology, and the unlimited federal funding in the form of quantitative easing (QE) and/or deficit spending or what I more appropriately call the reality of the Equity Spending (ES) process that enables us to utilize this extremely pure, clean freshwater supply. The redacted version is that we can electronically generate all of we the peoples' $s we need to electronically generate, or even want to electronically generate in order to fund anything we need to do, or even want to do..., but if we can do it, so can every other sovereign nation which fact is being deliberately kept hidden in plain sight in order to preserve the power and the authority of we the peoples' electronically generated "hegemony $s". My full name is - Oscar Dean Windham, and I am the most censored, the most suppressed scrivener/author in the entire world because I comment publicly about the fact that we do indeed now routinely electronically generate we the peoples' $s in order to keep our federal government's lights on, so to speak.

@@michaelshepherd733 I'm an ardent Trump supporter, but I still have to admit that, in my opinion, it would be the GOP that "will" be the greatest obstacle.
