Apologies if I’ve offended in any way in the past with my requests for closeups not being close enough etc. Had been treating my mamma at the time few months back & your videos really had me lift a paint brush after 30yrs & were my only “support” alongwith my young nephew we saw all of your videos & had our painting “class” alongwith you. I’ve seen many youtubers since but always found their frequent brush strokes & wrong sized brushes (tiny brushes for larger strokes) & fiddling with too many strokes too jarring for me. I’d always in my head approach & ask “hmm how would Harriet approach this, am sure she’d do this in max 2 strokes flat!instead of going back & forth”. There’s a sublime elegance to every stroke, curl, curve, circle, line that you draw & pain so effortlessly. Everytime you draw/pain a circle I hold my breath only to see it finishing perfectly. Your thirst for perfection with economy strokes, an intuitive knowledge of how the water behaves & flows & how much to take & how every stroke & negative space is so consciously done speaks volumes about your inner self. I’m in awe. I sincerely apologize if my earlier comments last December seemed offensive. Love Amanda

This type of lose painting is really what I need to do daily. I can paint very detailed in watercolor but if I don’t draw out every element before I paint I’m never happy with the end result. I really need to exercise /practice lose painting more!
