The media cannot glorify( MAKE A MOVIE) about Frank Matthews because he beat the system and no Blackman can be labeled as a Kingpin Gangster and escape law enforcement without a trace. If a movie is made about Frank Matthews the moral of the story is: I DID IT MY WAY AND YOU COULDN'T CATCH ME! This is the REAL AMERICAN GANGSTER!

He never beat the system . He and his GF got whacked . The Powers That be make the rules of the game ,and once you’re use has been served you either get put in jail or whacked . How come there’s been no sightings or activity of him since Summer 73 . Given his brash life style and his GF never contacting his Mother , just seems to me he and his GF got whacked by the Feds and Gambino’s and they did lupara bianca on them , so people will never know the truth and ignorant cats like you will think he’s actually alive .

jdoggs08753 Idk. He had killers and was loved. I’m sure he gave his inner circle way more then $50,000 back in the day. So $20,000 isn’t enough to rat out a king. Especially when that 20k isn’t enough to relocate your entire family because they would be killed. If they really really really wanted him they would of raised that 20k to take into account inflation. I’m glad someone made it out. It happens but not very often. Another story I’m starting to follow is Cavario’s Raised by Wolves and Brian “ Glaze “ Gibbs. Gibbs has multiple murders and robbery’s behind him and is speaking out against that life style. Someone in the public eye looks exactly like Frank. I believe it’s Mathews son.

Back in 2003 I work at this senior citizen public housing building in Brooklyn.I was in this tenant apartment repairing her kithen sink. She was old lady in her late 80s.And she was talking about the old days in Harlem all the sudden she stated that she use to hang out in the bars in Harlem back in the 50s, 60s and 70s she said she knew Nicky Barnes and other gangster in her bar days all the sudden she ask me did I ever heard of Frank Matthews I told her I heard of him .I told her I read that They don't know what happen to him he might be dead or the sudden this old lady gave me a look that you knew she knew something. So I ask did you know him.The old lady stated sure I did and I still know him.So I told her hold it is Frank Matthews still alive she told me I talk to him on the phone 4 years ago .So she told me what people say thats he dead is BS . Frank been coming back to United States for years mainly he would visit friends and family back in North Carolina she said.I told her how do she know this she said she knew his family in North Carolina and they talk on the phone now and then.So I ask the tenant where do Frank lives now she told me she don't know but he don't lived in the United States no more.He only comes and visit. And he has a different name now.So I ask her how they can't catch him when he comes to visit she told me he knows when to come. And he paid off certain people before he left the United States to leave him alone. She said she don't know who Frank paid off. This old lady who said this died in her 90s a few years ago.But the way she was talking that Frank Matthews was not dead years ago.He was living abroad with a different identity. He probably dead now or maybe not he would be in his 90s today if he still alive.

@Al Profit This man does the most thorough hood documentaries out of every KZbinr I've ran across during my few yrs of watching these sort of videos frfr. It's gonna take some hard work for someone to even come close to AI's professionalism, the research involved & the way he puts his viewers up on game. Frank Matthews was the truth & to think most people will swear on their mother's grave that Frank Lucas or Nicky Barnes was the TOPDOG but here you have law enforcement themselves saying out of their own mouths that Frank Matthews had entire states on lock. They supplied city blocks in ONE state while Matthews held down several diff entire STATES single handily. Matthews was definitely the type of dealer President Nixon had in mind & was interested in bringing down. We the people not hearing about MATTHEWS or the fact that he's not rapped about in music videos or shown in movies unlike every other drug dealer who hustled in New York, tells me that he was not only doing something right but he was also the man they were thriving to be someday. BIG MEECH must have found this Legend's blueprint some damn where bcuz he was the only man in the United States of America to have ever come this close to supplying numerous states TBH. My comment is already too damn long so let me GTFO but yeah @Al Profit keep em coming. I love your work & wish I knew how to contact you concerning a few questions I got. Nah not entirely, comin at this from a psychological aspect this is my analysis him having a heart issue and dying in another country un announced to the us if a 3rd world or not us friendly country however if his girlfriend was to ever seperate from him should would have contacted her family by now...... unless she died before him which I bet would have been met by foul play... he would be 80 years old by now and her only 68-72..... I wonder if things went bad with them and he really having the heart to kill her but look how he left his wife and kids so I believe there’s a definite level of sociopathic or narcissistic ways maybe even a degree of psychopath all his giving had everything to do with him and having people think he is so great and buying their loyalty band favor. It never had to do with him really being a giving person he had more than he knew what to do with and is his way of showing hey look I’m such a great man leaving a great legacy like a Peter Pan.
